Here in England, Gateshead FC made the playoffs and won the FA Trophy, yet weren’t allowed to compete in the playoffs due to ongoing problems between the club and the stadium’s owners (the local council), there was a chance of Gateshead getting back to the EFL for the first time since 1960 and it all went down the drain for them, sadly Beith and Gateshead aren’t the only ones, wishing all of these clubs all the best for the future.

I love it when you do these type of videos Blair. Yeah, the big league clubs make decent viewing but we all know what they are about. Clubs lower down the pyramid like Beith, etc make much more interesting subjects as it's football played for the love of the game on and off the pitch. Beith's slope was something else mind you!

Being French from an outside point of view I think that the Scottish football pyramid really needs to be reviewed from the Premiership to the amateur divisions. The Premiership must be played at 16, Championship League One/Two we must increase the clubs in the divisions and above all, above all, make promotions easier! SPFL clubs are far too protected. I find it shameful that the champion of the Lowland League and the Highland League does not automatically move up to League Two, it's a total lack of respect, there is no sporting merit... A club can finish last in League Two with only 3 points in the season and still escape in the play-offs... it's SHAMEFUL

We also need more sharing between the clubs Celtic and Rangers do not realize that they are doing more harm than good for Scottish football

It makes a mockery of the pyramid that The East of Scotland Champions got promoted without a playoff 2 seasons ago and that last season it was a playoff between South of Scotland v ,East of Scotland because Beith haven't sorted out the problems to be able to challenge for promotion when other teams spent money on their infrastructure to get their licence
