Can't stop watching this. Blake has really got his stuff down. Also, for a right-handed drummer I think he leads with his left hand flawlessly. He's obviously made a point of practicing that.

This is one of my favorite songs they have done. A looked over LP. I’m seeing them tomorrow March 24th 2018 in Lauderdale Fl. Fore the sixth time. I have never heard this song live. Would be nice. This band works very hard. They are part of the turn into the future. Thanks between the buried and me. Iv met Blake two times he’s a very humbled disciplined drummer. Top three of all TIME!

dude DT is my favorite band. im such a big fan i know the mike pornoy drum formula. Flam fills, Hit snare a bunch of times really fast then stacks with double pedals behind it a bunch of time really fast fills. epic badass quad filler or intro type of deal with master recording quality to make it stand out.

I got the pleasure of growing up with these guys and being part of the NC metal scene. Im also a drummer and got to play shows with many greats. I went to the same high school as Blake and I remember when he got into metal and I was like great im not going to be the best metal drummer anymore I got chops and can play all these songs but I have to say not many can touch Blake. I totally agree. While I could pull off something like Eden by TesseracT or panic attack with some practice I'm not thinking up a song like that off the top of my head. Can I think of complex patterns sure but as Brosk said its two vastly different things.

Mike Portnoy gave him a 10 inch stax, not the one in this video (which is a 12 inch). Obviously he's still using them after four years cause he likes them not because he feels "obliged." He's also using the same ride MP has used since the mid 90's and the chopper which MP added to his kit about three years ago. I'm sure he felt "obliged" by MP to add these to his kit as well...

@BrandenburgStudios I disagree. I'm fans of both BTBAM and DT, both Richardson and Portnoy, but The Dance of Eternity is a very technical song and you shouldn't discredit it. Both this piece and The Dance of Eternity are masterpieces that deserve to be celebrated separately and distinctively.
