A romanticised view of America, where we are all good, where everybody is Christian, etc. This brings about the risk of falsely imagining a non-existant falsely romanticised past where Americans were all Christian. Now, for a comment section, I don't see much of a harm, dare I say a bit mean to break the fantasies, because it's rarely serious here. However in general, it can be a bit harmful, leading people to be romanticising doomers who wish to turn to the 1700s. In this sense, notifying the others that separation of Church and State would be a nice decision. But it should be done in a manner that is more mature, teaching others that the past isn't always perfect, and we should aim to bring the romanticised ideals to the present. Mocking, following each comment by a laughter marker, such as "lol" isn't benefitting anybody. There is no point in bursting their bubble in YT, if you don't intend on bringing the information productively, as I have described above. • You are turning to insult, which then can lead you to pride, one of the easiest and worst sins to fall "up" to. Calling the others "delusional" for wanting to see America in a more positive light is neither productive for the people, nor is it healthy for you. As Christians, we should aim to be supportive of one another - yes, this can be telling them the truth if they've romanticised the past, but mocking them is not beneficial to anybody. Onto the content itself, nobody here has mentioned anything about the separation on Church and State. There is an argument that there was no separation, but even if we ignore that, nobody ever even mentioned it. The first Americans were Christians, the Founding Fathers were also Christians, regardless of whether they built the government with or without a separation (Remember the Puritans arrived in America for religious freedom). From there, Christianity in America has had ups and downs, with many Christians being loyal to Christ, whilst others being Christian in name only and doing very sketchy things. Either way, America has always been Christian one way or another. There is a joke that America "has no culture" across Europe, however they do have many elements that are close to culture, and alot of it is strongly Christian themed. From country to churches, etc. America is falling, but the Christians that were there are still there, and the comments under these videos are positive in the sense of "stay strong, guys", "let America be Christian again" and "hopefully America will always have you guys". That is what the comments are about, nothing necessarily political. I hope you take this comment in good light. If you are to conclude anything from what I have written, is don't immediately jump to conclusions on topics and people, and most importantly: teach people, don't mock them. We are Christians, we should be respectful. If you can find it, in a similar comment of mine, I had a Muslim respond to my comment. Now, I didn't fail to preach that Christ is the way, however I did it in a way that was respectful and allowed the Muslim to grow or just leave, without being mean or disrespectful. That is the way: teach, do no discourage.

“This is God’s Country ” My Grandma came here as a widow from Poland with 2 kids and nothing but a dream 100 years ago. She is My hero. (Along with My parents) Got re-married, opened a store with My Great Grand-father and had My Grandma. My daughter oddly just told and about this song yesterday when We heard it in a restaurant. I love that story! My mom, when she was 12 years old, along with eight brothers and sisters, came here from Poland too with my grandma and my great-grandma. They had been given a church sponsorship to Colorado (God's Country!) and an acre of land where they eventually built a farm with their bare hands while sleeping in the dirt. My grandpa had been taken as a prisoner of war in Poland and they had to come to America not knowing what happened to him or lose their sponsorship. 7 years later, he came walking up the dusty dirt road to the farm in Colorado...he had found them. I spent beautiful summers with all my cousins running around that farm. I am 62 and thank God my mom is still alive along with a few of her brother and sisters. Long live America!!
