As an engineer, I can't thank you enough for the attention to detail in this video! Turned a repairman call into a $15 fix, much appreciated.

Let me tell you one thing, i saw so many videos but i found the main part in the videos was missing which is how to assemble the belt with other parts underneath. This guy made full efforts to show each and every part to ease the installation process. Highly appritiate for the video. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for showing this! My husband started taking the back panel off our dryer.....i marched in and said...nope; first you have to remove the lint screen, take out those screws, lift off the top, etc.! I talked him through the whole process,, thanks to you

I don't see how there could be 94 thumbs down on this video. This guy went above and beyond to show every single step in great detail. The people who gave the thumbs down must have been smoking something, LOL. Great Video!!!!

Smoking something should have made them enjoy it 10 times more than how enjoyable it was already. We always going to have those haters, my man was very informative on what is so simple for some folks but I guess it wasn't for those who disliked it.

Greetings... I can't believe it. Everything seemed functional except the drum not turning. Suspected the belt. Your tutorial was spot on. I wouldn't have even known what to do with the tension pulley as it was just strewn on the bottom of the dryer. Well, less than $10 and a little effort (made so much easier with your thorough tutorial) and I am officially a rock star. That would have set me back over $200 if I had to call a repair man. Can't thank you enough. Thanks for taking the time to produce and post this and being so generous with your expertise. A total life saver.... S

As a weak older lady one thing I did that helped was to take a large screw driver to help pull the loop thru the pulley and to keep it from going back thru. I also put something under the drum to hold it up and out of my way. I used a smaller screw driver to help me pull the belt to get it on the motor pulley. Things my dad taught me but we’re huge help on me doing this by myself. THANKS for the help.

Thanks

Thank you so much for this video! Removing the drum to show the motor pulley and idler pulley (although not necessary to do the job) was a great step in the explanation of how things worked. None of the other videos that I found did this. Mine is similar to the the one shown, (Model LE7000XKW0), except that it has a lower panel that must be removed first; it just pops off, similar to the way the top has to be pried up. Then, you can unhook the springs that connect to the ends of the door hinges. These springs are what keeps you from pulling the front piece up the way you did.

Great video, the only thing I would add is for the home owner is to use a LED single shop light. Also I used a box of Kleenex under the drum as I set the belt to make it easier by taking off the tension and keeping the drum centered. 1 hr and $9.00 is for me the only way to go...Thanks again!
