I'm glad this 44 year old film brought back some great memories. After I graduated from UofF I moved up North to Pennsylvania... You never know how much you like an area until you move away... Glenn

I was at the Sept. 2013 Film Festival in Melbourne Glenn. It was awesome. Randy Molnar is my brother and my name is Becky Molnar Pollitz. SO fun to see him in this film.....1969, my graduation year from Mel-Hi. I'm now in a band with the guy who did your music/soundtrack for this film - Ron Sansone. It's based in Orlando, The DreamCatcher Band. I really miss Brevard County. What a super great time and community to grow up in - we loved every minute.

George... Both girls literally drew a crowd of amateur photographers wherever we went. I knew both ladies very well, but I didn't date them... I'm an idiot!

My brother, Alan Worthington, is at 8:40 coming in on a wave. He is wearing brown baggies. He will be forever young as he, sadly, passed from this life at age 45.

The original soundtrack EP, found in a thrift store in Cocoa, brought me here. Not kidding.

The nightclub was "Nort's La Scene" which was located right near the end of the 520 causeway on Cocoa Beach. Nort opened the club for us (without charge) on Sunday night so we could shoot the dance scenes. I had graduated from Cocoa High in 1967, so trying to make a little film in 1969 on a non-existent budget was a challenge. I think lots of people who were on the Canaveral Pier or on the beach might enjoy this little "time capsule". Thanks

Nort's La Scene was such an icon for awhile - my brother Randy Molnar, who was in this film, worked as a D.J. there part time for awhile. Great place. ( I was too young to get in....darn! )

I first saw this film at the movie theater when I was 11. I was with my mom. I remember standing up and yelling, "That's my brother!" when Alan (age 19 in the film) came on screen with his blond hair flying, catching a wave. He loved anything to do with water and/or wind: sailing, surfing, kayaking, wind surfing. It runs in the family!

Mr. Przyborski, this is a wonderful piece of memorabilia for me. The sights and sounds are perfect. I too no longer live in the area, so it feeds me to view this. My brother lives in the PIttsburgh area now. Six degrees of separation?

I enjoyed this. I saw two people I knew: Dick Catri of Shagg's renting the surfboard, and Bob Murkshe, mayor of Cocoa Beach, presenting the bikini contest award. Wow, where has all the time gone by so fast?

I was fortunate that as a 19 year old, I was able to get Mayor Murkshe, Dick Catri and others to let me stage certain scenes without any cost. In 1969, it was a novelity to want to make a film... today thanks to digital everyone can do it with an i-Phone or DSLR. Time has indeed flown by... Thanks...Glenn

Hey Jim... Wow long time... You were a great guitarist at Cocoa High... Do you still play? I graduated from U of F in '71, the last time I visited Gainesville was on commencement day in June of 1971. I remember Duane Smith, but I haven't heard from him for decades.

Yes, the magic of movies and TV. The Bikini store was in Melbourne Beach, but when we walked out we were supposed to be on Cocoa Beach, approx 20 moles away. This was such fun! Glenn was very kind to include me in his film. My Mother and Aunt are the two ladies getting out of the car at Nort’s LaScene. Glenn’s Mother is the cashier at the nightclub.

I live in Cocoa Beach & I love this! Did any of the background folks contact you to say they saw themselves? I was only 13 at the time, so I wasn't at the wild nightspot, but it looks like a happenin' scene - tho I might have been at the pier for the surf fest

I've been looking all over the internet for this music. it's absolutely sublime, and just perfect. and the film man, it's a beaut. being 20 now, and looking at creativity of someone at my age at a few decades ago in the same place i live is inspiring. love the film glenn, wish i could find the music. and definitely going to refer to your directing and editing on a project.

Hey Paul... Thanks for the comments. It's amazing today what capabilities you have with just a DSLR and a laptop computer compared to almost 50 years ago. It was also amazing to realize that there were only 3 of us at Cocoa High School who had any interest in a career in the film industry.
