I’m getting beamed through walls, floors, and insta-dropped with any gun if I don’t blindside them from the side, above, or from behind. Face to face shootouts has me getting melted 60% of the time and my bullets are getting nerfed as matches drag on. You can feel it because the hit markers on your opponent never ends 😂. I remember back in the day where every CoD lobby was something different. Sometimes you'd come up against an MLG pro dropping chopper gunners and dogs on you, sometimes you felt like the pro. Sometimes you could even put on joke weapons and actually have a good game. SBMM in casual lobbies turns every match into a meta sweatfest

The wild thing about the old lobbys is that the number of players were a fraction of what they are without cross play and many other factors. Every time I see someone rant about the old times I laugh, simply because the past is long gone. Gaming wasn't culturally accepted and our internet speeds were well below today's standards. Yeah, I don't like it and I won't buy it, but the criticism is the reasons why I no longer buy the product. Imo, the spirit of Call of Duty is the casual play experience, chatting shit in game chat, quickscoping and trickschotting, cross map throwing knives, dropping nukes, playing unusual loadouts, completing camos and challenges, sweating really hard when you come up against a 6-stack etc.. I find the move towards a more sweaty, eSports style of game has ruined this and is best left to other games more suited to it like R6S and CS.

Hey! I've been playing CoD since Infinity Ward made Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. That game was actually advertised in the back of the manual of my all time favorite game - Command and Conquer: Renegade, which came out in 2002! I have ran gaming communities, operated & managed servers for many many titles, and have dabbled in coding (really modifying, nothing from scratch) for these titles/servers. The earliest CoD title I have personally ran and managed servers for was CoD4.. For the killstreaks, specifically the helicopter - you can change pretty much every single parameter/option that there is; health, armor, missile count, rate of fire, turret clip, reload times, "attraction strength and range", and many others.. But it was pretty well known that the helicopter 100% focused on the highest scoring opposing player, then 2nd, then 3rd.. Proof of this is if the highest scoring player was alive but behind an obstacle preventing the helicopter from killing, the helicopter would keep spamming and shooting everything it has until that player was dead, then would focus on #2. This wouldn't happen ALL the time (it's hard to keep track of all this going on live) - but easily reproducible. The most notable thing is that there were 23ish settings just for the helicopter, but changing the priority was not one of them. Now i'm wondering how deep the rabbit hole truly does go. Thanks for staying in the game CoDFather! I'm a LONGGGG time viewer, but rarely comment on videos. Thought my 2 cents here would be welcomed.

Krampus spawned randomly in Warzone and would go after which ever squad was closest and then would teleport/portal to a new area, and he was not even hard to kill if you had a team with LMG's or explosives. I was in a pub 4 man with BillyGoat 57's and and he was out and we got too close and he came after us. We all had lmg's and melted him with no one dying in literally like 45 seconds just running circles around him in the road. I never saw him pop up in multiplayer as that was a super super rare thing to happen. It really wasn't that bad and made watching your favorite streamer hack their way to another 30 kill win that much more interesting when krampus would bend them over and you could say , that guy really sucks cause me and like three 0.5kd guys roasted krampus no problem and they are freaking out cause krampus could out tank hacks and kill hackers if he got in close.

I liked the idea of Krampus more than the reality of Krampus. How it should be handled is every 2 minutes or so someone just spawns in as Krampus. You don't even have to make it a kill streak. They could even bring back field orders from Ghosts. You kill someone to pick up a challenge. You then complete that challenge and you become Krampus.

Last night I got home from a 12 hour shift. Turned on cod and played a match of hard points on skidrow. I was doing really good with KD and time spent capturing (almost 2 min). My team was winning the whole game. I swear we got to a point where we had aboit 242 points to the other team having 137. Out of nowhere the tides of the match changed. I couldn't kill anyone and they beat us 250 to 248. Seemed like my whole team got punished by the engagement optimizing thing. I ended up quitting the game before it ended with the ps button and turned my ps5 off because that's how pissed I was

I've totally noticed A LOT of bots in my lobbies specially over the holiday weekend. They will always use the Thirst or Rocket skins. I've had them just camping in a corner of a room and kill me. I'll go back and enter from a different direction and they will "kill" me not even looking my direction and then turn to me after I'm dead. I had a Thirst skin on a map last night just standing out in the open in a lane not even trying to take cover mowing people down and after each kill it would take like one stutter step like it was shifting its weight , but it never moved or jumped or took cover until it finally died. It was like it's AI bugged out on it's movement but it could still fire like a turret, and unless the lobbies are lying about ping mine is never above 40 so it isn't lag or anything. I've also noticed I'll be playing and going negative but you know when you are getting stomped versus kinda doing bad even when you don't check the score board (just from playing COD for like 25 years)_. I'll be playing games and I'm like yeah I did bad I'm like 6 or 8 negative deaths on my K/D but when the match is over it's like 25 deaths. It's like I know for sure I didn't die 25 times in that match if I had I would have left the match at like 10 deaths (hell I still use the old BO1 and 2 rule.. 3 losses in a row and you disconnect for the night), so I think they are also padding stats to keep you in certain SBMM brackets hoping you wont notice. It just sucks being a 2.1 - 2.5 KD player pre-SBMM and now I'm over here getting my A-hole ripped open to just try and salvage a 1.1.

My idea for making Krampus more tolerable is just make him a Juggernaut variant. Make him the same score as a regular Juggernaut but he uses his claws instead of a mini gun and maybe he has a higher sprint speed to account for only being melee. I know COD Ghosts was a miss for the series, but there was one mechanic in that game that was at least interesting. I think it was called field orders; it was this briefcase that would randomly spawn on the map somewhere and when someone picked it up, it would give them a challenge to complete in their current life. If they were successful, they would get a reward. One of these rewards, granted you could only get it on specific maps, would be a specialized character. I can only remember two of them, one was Michael Myers on a haunted bog map, and the other was The Predator on an ancient temple map. They could do something like that for Krampus.

Have had several matches with 1000+ ping, then once I've died enough suddenly back to 30, have seen the delayed kills from MW19 where the game gives the enemy time to avenge themselves. Disco map glitch still a thing. And all the while I'm expected to beat ESPers. Sometimes I like to mess with them by doing random shit before going around their corner, so I can watch them follow my every move in the replay. A six stack which I managed to confirm had 4 cheaters on it, probably 6 of 6, started out losing horribly then decided to target me specifically, and were bragging post game about having singled me out to put me in my place. After reporting the known cheaters I was matched against them every match the rest of my Saturday night. I'm a casual, I work 50 hours a week, I like guns and CoD is cheaper than ammo. I don't want to spend my entire night off fighting cheaters in a game that actively punishes winning.

We were playing kill confirmed and were coming back from a bad lose right as we tied the game with 3 seconds left . I just a super data spike and end up getting the last death. What's crazy is before MWIII launched on PC I was able to be invited by a recent player from a MWII so I could play the game early, he was a total legend for hooking me up btw. He searched for a match and we got into a game of Rust Hardpoint. I had 150 ping and had NO packet burst at all the ENTIRE MATCH. I ended up with the most kills in the lobby and absolutely destroyed them. It didn't even feel like I had 150 ping, and every match I've played after I had around 15-30 ping with packet burst out the wazoo. Why did I get into the same lobby as this guy in the first place if SBMM is supposed to provide that even playing field people talk about? I'm not even sure this guy was in the same country as I am.

Hey BT, I had a game yesterday with my brother and a friend where we played the 3v3v3 gamemode. We all started getting lags, highping and one-after one we started getting blackscreens which would kick my friend out of the lobby. (The game would be stuck in a black screen for 15~ Seconds after starting the round) The same happened to the other players in the lobby, so we ended up with one two-player team (me and my brother) and one remaining 1 player team. The other 3 player team got kicked out of the lobby cause of the blackscreen/timeout. We finished that 2v1 round and all got the same blackscreens again after finishing. Now here comes the funny part... The WHOLE lobbys empty slots got filled during the blackscreen with similar looking people with activision IDs (RyWiley, Liquid, ect. while every "original" player had normal names without the #1231561), during the blackscreen we had. They would run around and shoot while we all couldn't play cause we had a blackscreen! No way in any possible sense can anybody tell me those aren't bots. This has confirmed the Bot theory so much. After watching your video and knowing about things like OD and DemonJuice, this shit become so aparent, It's insane!

It's an old 2008 game, but the game apparently has a mechanic called an AI Director which chooses when to spawn specific enemies, items, & other elements depending on both game difficulty & how the player is performing throughout the game IN REAL TIME. Maybe other games have had a similar system, but getting back on the topic of Activision possibly putting AI bots into COD multiplayer; you think Activision's recently implemented some AI Director into the game that's adding bots on Recruit difficulty or Veteran difficulty depending on real-time player performance? Remember those Demon Juice & OD guys you were playing with & how OD left after feeding a bunch of deaths to the enemy team RIGHT BEFORE leaving the match to make your team lose? Love to see you keep talking about this. Activision has no intention of taking out SBMM, they are really trying to kill off their fanbase from COD

When you made your first bot video about this game, I immediately remembered Krampus from Vantard… then it hit me, they were testing this shit out years ago to see what the community would do…. This sbmm is our biggest problem now, and as you said, ping based matchmaking and what comes with that is what comes with it, ill get my shit kicked in happily knowing that my matches are based off ping rather than other players of my same exact skill level, getting a kill and then dying every time isn't exactly what id call fun personally, especially when i get 50 to 60+ kills in a tdm game that only goes to 100 in which I still ended up being neck and neck with the other team, shit is absolutely absurd and they need to tone it down, and while people might say, well call of duty has been a game for over 20 years now in which people have had the time to get good such as aiming wise and adapting to certain play styles of such , but this is absolutely not the case, there are still countless players out there that are still completely dogshit and even people just starting the game today, but with the aggressiveness of the sbmm makes it so these players are nowhere to be found, gotta love call of duty, I mean lets be honest, what exactly is the point of ranked? sbmm in normal matches are already matching you into ranked lobbies in a sense of everyone being nearly as good if not better than you chances are ggs cod, theyll figure it out someday, or maybe not, least they headed in somewhat of a better direction as far as the game itsself imo, but i have only played beta not release

Nowhere to be found in COD anymore with this matchmaking , even as someone who tests out ways to bypass the sbmm such as vpns and all just to see , and now even VPN lobbies regardless if you wanna play with some little kid from Kyrgyzstan across the word it’s still going to give you people from that location of your skill level , and the only reason VPNs may seem useful is cause gaming for an extended amount of time in a lot of other countries is pretty much frowned upon from what I’d guess so the players in certain areas just don’t have the most time to play like people from US/Canada and such so, it’s like you literally have to reverse boost to have a have decent game once in a while and as a player who hasn’t yet played MW3 since beta , I could most definitely say that I’m gonna be attempting this reverse boost method and keep my stats insanely low when the time comes to get on the new game so I can test my theory for lobbies wit a .5k/d rather than a 1.35k/d which all I get is sweaty 13year olds who have no time but to play all day

I like how that Oakley guy on sub base was a fill to balance teams after someone left. I noticed this shit happening all the time where I'd make bad enemies leave and then they'd get replaced by good(ish) players. So by the end of the game, the entire lobby is basically completely new teams and my easy game was ruined.

After watching your video about bots the other day and playing a little mw3 yesterday, I'm fully convinced there's bots in these games. Generic usernames, default operator, default calling card, default emblem, no camo or charm on weapons, sometimes not even using all 5 attachments, and very robotic movement and all usually level 50 or higher. I just don't see how a real player would do things like that, 1 or 2 things is whatever but it's always all of them.

There is a way we, as a community, can change this. If everyone starts reverse boosting, if everyone starts normalizing it, sharing it with friends, the whole point of sbmm just collapses because even reverse boosted lobbies would start to feel mixed. So, as content creators, you youtubers should just encouraging it. The more people doing it, the better for our cause.

Why not go play the OG-MW2 if you wanted variety? OG-MW2 / OG-BO3 were the most recent CoDs with weak SBMM/EBMM that are still somewhat playable unfortunately. Without having to resort to modded servers with a small player-base at least…new CoDs still breakup lobbies to prevent reverse boosting from taking advantage of their own systems but it prevents those friendly rivalries the older generation got to experience.

The Krampus thing yes, I would play with a then close friend and I can confirm that when I was the top player in the lobby/team as soon as it would say "Krampus will appear soon" Krampus literally spwans in the game Directly behind the best player and does an execution on them
