📖 Blaming God: Understanding Our Role in Life’s Struggles
Life often throws challenges at us that seem unbearable. It’s easy to blame God when things go wrong, but have we ever paused to reflect on our role in the outcomes we face?
In Deuteronomy 30:19, God sets before us life and death, blessings and curses, urging us to choose life so that we and our descendants may live. This verse reminds us that our choices hold immense power, but they also come with unchosen consequences.
Similarly, in Job 13:15, we see the depth of unwavering trust in God: “Though he slay me, yet will I trust him.” Job understood that faith doesn’t mean escaping hardship; it means trusting God even when we don’t understand His plan.
🌱 Reflection:
• Are we making choices that align with God’s will?
• Are we prepared to accept the consequences of our actions, knowing they are part of His greater purpose?
• Can we trust God in our darkest hours, like Job, instead of blaming Him?
🔑 Takeaway: God doesn’t promise a life free of struggles, but He does promise to guide us through them if we trust Him. When we choose Him, we also choose life, peace, and purpose-even amidst trials.

Great conversation. I’m hearing something like some one might actually blame God for their situation if they are ignorant of God’s nature. If you understand God and know his person you won’t blame God for those situations that seem to have been out of your control. I’m still listening .., And so it’s your choice to get to know God and be in a position to hold on to his promises to make things better for you. However if you don’t have a relationship with God you not going to know how to navigate your trials and come out on top. So really from this we see it’s still comes back to your decision and choice you are making - choosing life (God) or choosing death.
