Watching this gives me instant nostalgia. I’ve laughed so much watching this. We had such an amazing fun and goofy time. This group is out of control. Blanca don’t pot your cattleya in a glazed pot. It won’t let the roots breathe. Venders such as Better Grow in HD and Lowe’s do it so it looks pretty to sell but it is not recommended to keep it like that permanently. Sadly I lost a few like that until I joined my local orchid society and learned what not to do. I’d hate for you to lose such a beautiful cattleya. Please tell Nelson as well. Get an unglazed pot.

I’ve seen both types. One with only the glaze inside and one with both sides glazed. The glaze works like a sealer in the sense that it traps the moisture and air suffocating the roots but with unglazed, the pot dries out and airs out the roots. You can use those type of glazed pots for decoration purposes to put a blooming orchid.
