Blanche is so humble. I love her tenor/raspy alto. I wish more female singers like her and India arie were out there showing women how to be proud & comfortable staying in their scope. Love this lady’s voice and presence. 💞

i'm not, and wasn't raised a religious person. however, during middle school i had a couple good friends of mine ask me to guest at their churches. i played keys at CoGiC, Southern Baptist, and Pentecostal churches. at first, this style of worship made me very uncomfortable, but now I am able to experience all the beauty and energy that is black gospel. for me, the exuberance of this music convinces me of the existence of God more than any preacher could. by the way, 2:49!! Over a decade and this song is still my favorite. Blanche has an amazing voice and she took this song to another level with her lead and Donald's has an amazing ear for music and lyrics. God has truly placed a calling on his life and lives within him for sure!
