This was a week before my 14th birthday...I became aware of this band when Living on the ceiling mesmerized me at a party one Friday night....fantastic youth we had with this music.

Great upload & a great Peel session! I can remember recording this off the John Peel Show on compact cassette on a sanyo cassette recorder in the 1980's, those were the days!

Remember missing this way back in the day ! - And there just been a piece on Sky Arts called " Guy Garvy from the vaults ! "9:12 to 10:00" pm on Friday nights - on the episode "Best of 82" - the Great Blancmange was featured & John Peels Blancmange session was mentioned ....So here I am !

I only knew blancmange as a pop/ chart act. This has that nice cheaper production quality not as polished as chart pop thing going on. Fantastic
