Each team of two friends will be paired with a comedian guest, and the teams accumulate points by matching their teammates, with a bonus if any player matches America’s top answer. The celebrities switch teams in round two, and in round three the trailing team picks the comedian partner they believe will help them win.

For the first question over whether or not a Reindeer and a regular Deer are the same thing: I think that the judges thought Reindeer was too SPECIFIC of a deer to be considered a match.

@@jamesgibson5818 The podium format is different than Match Game, with six people (instead of eight) and three of them are on each side. Second, there is a double blank round which I am more familiar with. Third, there are no returning champions in this game and (as expected) the jackpot win is small in the bonus round. If I worked for this show I would not have minded keeping it low since all the contestants have to do is match three times in the final round.

Yep, Match Game minus the panelists. =p But, I played along...my answers: -reindeer -crown -polka dots -pants (funnier, c'mon ppl!) -underwear (or bra) -yeah Wells Fargo is good, I was trying to think of a physical bank branch (Summit came to mind first); really any would work -Yogi and Boo-Boo (plenty of bears to choose amongst but I wanted two that're already a matched set! D'oy!) -yeah, I guess Grey's Anatomy and House For the last three, I suppose those are the most obvious answers...though I was thinking 'box of popcorn' for the baseball game, which I haven't actually gone to since I'm not into professional sports...but yeah, come to think of it, Lucy was selling hot dogs at the game in the Bob Hope episode...^^

This new game show is not rip off to the original match game because the ABC version of this show of match game was canceled due to inappropriate swearing fill in the blank answers so that's why Game Show Network have to make a different format of match game called blank slate

Dont like the idea of it being too scripted.... dont like the idea of matching folks at home... folks at home could say anything in reality and whats the point of connecting the answers to ppl at home that takes away from the spontaneity of the game... now really makes it look scripted... smh... match game 77 is still the better more exciting game...
