I use to not pay attention to reaction videos. But I’m so glad I found you. I don’t have any friends watching Thai GL’s let alone BTS. A lot of people don’t seem to understand or get the nuances of Nuengs character in these early episodes. They think she’s childish and that it’s cringy. Your reaction is awesome. I think there were a lot of things that kinda helped Arnueng to bring down Khun Nueng's walls of unworthiness 1. Through Arnueng, Khun Nueng somehow reconnected and identified with her past childhood trauma. 2. Arnueng also reminded her that after all she too is not perfect given that the advice she gave almost would have ended someone's life. 3. Arnueng also awoken the caring nature/instinct in Khun Nueng. 4. The innocent nature of Arnueng also worked to her own advantage while pursuing Khun Nueng. I believe that maturity wise Arnueng was at per or even way above Khun Nueng's and above Arnuengs own age. S1 Blank is characters building which is great as the drama is touching a very sensitive subject tho some unable to dive into it sadly. Someone mentioned that in the book, Anueng's mom actually drank the drug tho i cant verify it as i haven't read it myself; I would assume they changed it so the drama isn't more dark as it already is, similar to what Gap the series did to Khun Nueng's sis.

Maybe a different take of KN’s quick flip of stance in the last scene, when she suddenly asks AN to stay. The entire conversation was KN doing what PiangFah asked her to do, to make AN hate her. But despite the hurtful words she said to AN, AN still maintains she can’t hate the person she loves, but would go if KN really don’t want her around. I think that quick shift was KN realizing she can’t lose AN over this unsuccessful attempt to get her to hate her. What do you think?

The only thing I would add is that, there was this moment wi Hen Anueng was asking if KN really wanted her to go and it looked like KN was going to go through with it. I think that in that moment Khun Nueng realized how much she wanted Anueng to stay. I feel like it flashed across her awareness, a life without Anueng , forever and what ended up coming out of her mouth was her truth. I think KN gave up because it was too hard to pretend she didn't want Anueng to stay

Oh, I think she took her seriously from the first time Anueng said it. That's why she has to go and consult with Sam about what she thought it meant. But I also think that the walls Khun Nueng has built are things that need time to completely wear down. So Anueng keeps saying it because it's true but also because Khun Nueng needs to hear it to really accept it in her heart, though in her head, she knows Anueng is speaking the truth

I'm writing this as the video goes, and most of the times you came to the conclusions I made LOL so reading this you might be like "yeah I said that!" ahahhaha😅 young Khun Nueng is tenfold more cold than the current one because when she was younger she was her grandma's carbon copy, every reaction she has with Fah is what her grandma would have done. even in her coldness though, she respected Fah's feelings and wanted to remain friends, and when Fah pushed her to tell her why they cant be together, Khun Nueng wanted to spare her the pain of her cold words which are what her grandma instilled in her "you are royalty nobody is worthy of you" LOL listen, Fah's actress came on live to tell the world she had a really hard time being angry at Khun Nueng because Faye was in THAT dress LOL and I mean we all can relate to THAT ahhahah Anueng inherited one thing from her useless parents and that's the gene that tells her "you must fall in love with that one gorgeous royalty woman" 😂 when it comes to Chet getting Fah preggo, and then saying didnt know what to do, he was the son of the prime minister of course he probably thought "my father will end me" etc but also there is a major cultural factor that is in play here, at the time (if we consider the story's timeline as current year 2024, 20 years ago was 2004 when Anueng was born) abortions were very much illegal, in Thailand (in fact only became legal in 2022!) and they are still frown upon, which is why Khun Nueng got her poison to have a "miscarriage" and not took her to a clinic to have a proper abortion. and also why his "immaturity" is so much more heavier because the girl has no other option other than birth that child. oh Anueng can read Khun Nueng like an open book, she knows her so well, and that part will play a role on later situations "THAT'S WHY YOU WERE NOT WORTHY!1!!!!" tell her girl ahhahaha Fah came back with vengeance, nothing else mattered to her other than hurting Khun Nueng, she brew that vengeance for 20 years, she went to that school event to find Khun Nueng, not to see her daughter not to see her mom, but to find Khun Nueng and inflict pain on her the grandma's trauma explains her behaviour towards Anueng but does not in any way justify it. but it is trauma along with her obsession to save face, not to mention the need to prove that she's a good mother. She sent Fah overseas because she wanted to save face, and she beat Anueng to obedience so she can show her face to the world again. Khun Nueng be like: "you involve me in your business? oh well you get your business exposed, because I dont give a flying F anymore" 🤣 Fah with her lie being guilt tripping Khun Nueng, so hard. Also both Fah and Chet, ask her to parent Anueng on their behalf but not like "please take care of her while im gone" but more like "hey tell my kid to do that, she listens to you and not me" and Khun Nueng because she cares and loves Anueng, she wants Anueng to have a family (the family she herself didnt have(parents), and also stepped away from(grandma))she wants Anueng to have a support system, even if those parents are useless at least they say they care, and even with that kid Folk, she wants Anueng to have a friend her age, to be able to connect with the outside world. I absolutely agree million % with how bad Khun Nueng reacts in that scene, and I think she knows very well herself because it's on purpose, she is forced to make Anueng hate her, oh and it is absolutely unfair to Anueng absolutely, if it wasn't for the pressure she feels from the parents, and the guilt from Fah, and also her own conscience about being with someone so much younger, there are so many things in Khun Nueng's mind that disrupt the peace Anueng trying to create. Khun Nueng could very well could say "okay leave everyone and be with me" to Anueng and A would just jump to the opportunity head first, but that would be exactly what Khun Nueng is not trying to do. she wants Anueng to have a support system behind her. Khun Nueng has never been in a relationship before, Chet was arranged marriage by her grandma, and she never had feelings for him, and she has only been having one night stands with women in the past (that is only mentioned in the book by the way, no spoiler for the series) so you are correct she doesn't know how to be in a relationship your reactions are so entertaining and full of insight I love them so much 🥰

Mmm, I can understand being afraid of his dad because of the “scandal” but at the same time, I feel like these things often happen with influential peoples’ sons and they have a way of providing support without the matter getting exposed. Chet wouldn’t even have been carrying the responsibility of providing for the child as his father’s money would have done that. He still left everything to Fah though.

Exactly!!! How you named your daughter after someone who never felt the same way towards you. She knew that kha nueng didn't hurt the baby( anueng( Yoko). I need a new series explaining that.
