Call me a heretic, but I'm personally not a fan of pixel art. I prefer hand-drawn sprites not only because I find them easier to look at for hours on end but because they actually let's you see what's going on. Which was one of the reasons why I loved Hollow Knight so much: its hand-drawn art style was beautiful, easy on the eyes, and clearly illustrated what was happening.

It's heavily based on spanish 'Semana Santa'. It's a catholic celebration, people usually wear pointy hats which clearly inspired the main character's design. It's a very twisted and interesting mix between castlevania and bloodborne, I fell in love with it the second I discovered it on Kickstarter.

Γενικά τα metroidvania είναι πιο πολύ του κολλητού η ειδικότητα, αλλά το παιχνίδι έχει απίστευτη ατμόσφαιρα, μουσική, γραφικά (λατρεύω pixel art) κι από θέμα gameplay έχει parry που το λατρεύω. Το μόνο που φοβάμαι είναι ότι θα είναι πολύ μικρό γιατί το dev team είναι 2 άτομα ή κάπου εκεί γύρω. Απ' την άλλη, το Salt & Sanctuary το έφτιαξε ένα παντρεμένο ζευγάρι(!) και είναι υπερπαιχνιδάρα!

@@greg_c23 - Αν έχεις PS4, το Horizon: Zero Dawn τα σπάει στο Ultra Hard. Έχω ένα δυο βίντεο στο προφίλ μου. Τώρα, το πιο κοντινό πράγμα σε όλ' αυτά που ανέφερες είναι το Dragon's Dogma. Είναι ξεκάθαρη απομίμηση Dark Souls από την Capcom. Έχει job system με ένα άλφα βάθος-κρίνοντας απ' τ' όνομα, πιστεύω θα σ' αρέσουν Strider και Assassin, αλλά έχει και ιππότες-κι έχεις κι έναν έως 3 AI followers. Απ' τα ιδιαίτερα χαρακτηρηστικά του είναι ότι μπορείς να σκαρφαλώνεις πάνω στα μεγάλα τέρατα (σκέψου Shadow of the Colossus) και μπορείς να κόβεις κομμάτια τους (σκέψου Monster Hunter). Εγώ έφτιαξα Assassin στο Hard mode με τη μία (κανονικά είναι για NG+), οπότε για περίπου 20 ώρες τα πάντα και τα κοάλα με είχαν μονόχιτο. Δεν με χάλασε όμως γιατί γουστάρω glass cannons. Φυσικά, επειδή μιλάμε για RPG, στο τέλος της ιστορίας όλοι οι χαρακτήρες είναι κωμικά δυνατοί. Το DLC (το έχει μέσα η Dark Arisen έκδοση) δεν το πολυέπαιξα γιατί είχα ψιλοβαρεθεί μετά από τόσες ώρες. Είναι λίγο endgame grind φάση και δεν με τρέλανε. Γενικά όμως το παιχνίδι αξίζει ένα playthrough.
