A fallen off a little Aaron Rodges is still better than 22 of the 31 other QBs in the NFL. If he’s even 80% of what he was before, the Jets can compete.

If we kill Dak for his shortcomings in the playoffs then why can't we talk about 1 SB win & that last happened when Obama was president. His last game in GB they could've went to the playoffs but they lost to Detroit who were mid at the time. Only reason I don't think he fell off is cause I always thought he's overrated period. Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Doug Williams, Joe Namath, Len Dawson, Mark Rypien, & Jeff Hostetler all have the same amount of rings. Eli Manning & Big Ben have 1 more ring & Russell Wilson played in 1 more SB than Rodgers.

He’s cooked. These fools are failing to realize Aaron’s legs were always a huge part of his game. He was absolutely not a pocket QB. Look how Watson looked after that long away from the game? We Jets fans are not even expecting him to go out and be mvp. I would totally take his 22 season stats. 3700 yds, 26 tds,12 ints would be a huge improvement for the Jets. For years Greenbay has been relying strictly on his talent along with D. Adams and they knew it wasn’t gonna get done. He didn’t have a good defense since the SB against the Steelers. Let’s face it. Some franchises who have great QBs refuse to set them up like other teams set up QBs because they want to save money and want them to do it all alone. It happened with Peyton Manning. Yeah they paid him but defense was always awful. Yeah he had offensive weapons but what’s the point when you could literally walk for touchdowns on the Colts defense regardless of the two great pass rushers they had

I’m just wondering how is it blasphemous to say that a 40 going on 41 year old QB who’s coming off not only a down season from 2022, but a torn Achilles at that age, is done? I don’t like how ppl is acting as if he’s recovering from a sprained ankle or something. Achilles injuries has ruined the careers of ppl much younger than Rodgers is now

20 years ago if you tore your ACL you were done. If a QB tore his rotator cuff 30 years ago he was done. They've come a long way in achilles injuries in the last decade. It's not a career ender anymore. Besides, he's not running wind sprints or trying to block a 300 lb. guy every play.

Kurt Warner was 37 with the Cardinals. Stafford was 33 in 2021. Peyton Manning was 38 in 2014. so.... again, being 40 years of age coming off an Achilles is a valid concern. Tom Brady is an outlier

Even if you include the season where he only played 4 snaps.... Rodgers has avgd 27 Tds and 5 ints over the last 5 seasons and only played in 4 of them. Let that sink in. (27 TDs would have tied him with Mahomes last year.) His last season in GB vs Dallas he had a near perfect passer rating with 224 yrds, 3 TDs., 0 ints. We are less than 2 years removed from MVP level play. The Rodgers hate is out of control.
