1. Both India and Pakistan had same section 295 for blasphemy law incorporated in their penal code. Major difference in these two countries is that there is mandatory death penalty in Pakistan for " Use of derogatory remarks, spoken, written, directly or indirectly, etc. defiles the name of Muhammad or other Prophet", while India have only 2 year punishment . Muslim judge presence is must , as per law, in trials involving section 295C. 2. I am from odisha, India, the land of jagannath. The jagannath temple in puri was attacked 17 times by Muslim invaders at the orders of mughal emperors. Lot of wealth was looted. Many priests were killed. The priests hid the idols at different places of odisha. This happened for almost 200 years. Rathyatra was suspended for centuries. Not only jagannath temple but several temples were vandalized in odisha. These details are mentioned in Odisha history written by Dr Harekrushna Mahatab, the historian and first chief Minister of odisha. Besides, the jagannath temple has a diary called Madala Panji where these details with indian dates were also mentioned. This is one of the reason of hindu disliking Muslims, sometimes speak ill of Islam, which you say blasphemy and do Sar tan se Juda.

Im a practicing Muslim. and what we have been taught all life about such incidents is that there was an old lady who use to throw garbage on Prophet SAWW when ever he use to pass by her house. Prophet SAWW never objected to her. and one day she didnt throw, subsequently Prophet SAWW inquired about her, finding that she is sick He (prophet SAWW) inquired of her health. later that lady reverted to Islam and is remembered as sahaban RA. her house's window location where she threw garbage is sill there engraved in makkaah tower. now all the Sahabas RA present at that time why didnt they kill that lady for "ghutakhi". are we more wise than the prophet SAWW and sahaba RA.? nauzubillah that "oktiloho" referred hadees is in direct clash with the above narrated incident and is ZAEEF hadis by all sects and is never mentioned in any of main ahadees books like bukhari, muslim,abu daod and ibn e maja. but mullahs are running their shops on such narratives.

Is this guy a judge or what? Ibn e tahmiyah RA was the one who made it as death penality even if he repents. And in shariah its agreed upon (Ijmah) that blasmephy is punishable by death even if the person repents, he gave 1 example of forgiveness but there are 10s where they’re executed. I think for Pakistan we should have atleast some aspects where our judges should learn about shariah and then become judges, because studying from western afflilated institutions and studying their Law and then applying on muslims is already a foolishness, we need our Islamic identity, this is why many youth now-a-days are suffering from identity crisis. With that being said I have full sympathy for all those muslims brothers and Sisters who are wrongly accuses of it and I know some ture stories where people were wrongly accused of. But at the end of the day what can you expect from “democracy” its full of flaws and foolishess and thats why democracy itself another religion which has nothing to do with Islam, May Allah save us all from the Shirk of democracy. It's not just the blasphemy laws which are being misused. Laws on Murders, abductions etc are fare more being mis-used than blasphemy ones. Moreover, the Judge counted people who were victims of misuse if blasphemy laws, why didn't he count the ones who really did what's prohibited according to blasphemy laws like Asia Masih, and consecutively to whom 3 courts given the death penalty, and then suddenly, the witnesses refused to testify against her after more than a decade. The problem is not the misuse for the people with SaveAneeqa hash tag, rather their problem is with the blasphemy laws themselves. I don't know what's he talking about when he said that the culprit is not given chance for repentance according to blasphemy laws in Pakistan. The law tells the culprit to repent within next 3 days, and accept Islam within that span of time, and if he/she does that, he/she will be forgiven. Also, why the hell everyone is on fire this time? Less than a year ago, 2 persons were given death penalties and one was given a 10 year imprisonment sentence who was a teacher in one of Islamabad's model colleges. No one said anything at that time. The laws are made according to majority's beliefs and will in a democratic society, and Pakistan is a democratic society. Although, we the Islamists, or extremists as you call, we believe there must be a very harsh penalty for those who falsely accuse someone of blasphemy. Apart from that, it's stupid to say that people don't really insult the figures of Islam, and go against Blasphemy laws, I know and you know too that there are many Atheists, Agnostics, who regularly do that. The problem with you is the blasphemy law itself, and about that: you can disagree with the laws, but you can't dictate them for people of Pakistan. Above 90% of Pakistan's population is in favor of blasphemy laws. You can stop it temporarily by getting into power in form of Ayub Khan, Yahya, Bhutto, Benazir, and Musharraf, and then exploit the laws and save the people accused of blasphemy, but in the end, they'll be dead outside the court, or the courts will give them death penalties. It's up to you, what do you want, because either way, our hand will be on top!

This law is for those who habitually do this act and they confess their crime as well as four sane witness who fit on the witness eligiblity criteria . Blasphemy is equal to hadd palenty thats why there is too much strictness to prove this offence as per islamic.law Also there is strict criteria for the judge to see that whether the offence was really committed and the offender did it with his intention and sane mind . And also there is option of.repetence even after that is proved under hanafi school of.fiqh . But sadly in pakistan ,there is no criteria in such sensitive issues and in most cases even not a single witness complete the criteria of shahadat u shuhood of.islamic law .
