I can’t take credit for capturing any of the footage featured in this video, however I am responsible for editing this compilation! The original members of the KZbin garbage trucks community will recall the early username Aussiegarbo13, with many videos posted from the Penrith contract in particular. At some point this channel got deleted and the user dropped off the radar, although he was still around watching everything that was being posted and continues to do so today. I know why this sudden exit occurred, but I won’t go into that =D The problem here was that all the uploads were gone from KZbin, and everything completely disappeared when this individual’s computer ended up crashing with nothing recovered. Sadly, this meant the total loss of certain truck footage which nobody else caught and won’t be able to ever again, including the initial Visy recycling fleet operating in Penrith and the old council and JJ Richards side arms that worked in Hawkesbury. On the bright side, some video clips that were last recorded and never posted on KZbin were still available on that trusty JVC camera, which I recently plugged into my laptop and backed up in the form of this 16min video.
There was quite a substantial amount taken of these few trucks, which I watched through and carefully chose the best bits to produce this upload, being a big and final share of Aussiegarbo13 action. We start off with a classic Blacktown Sidepak, see a little bit of a Blacktown recycler, then there’s a Fairfield garbage clip, followed by Penrith organics and a couple shots of both Hawkesbury 35m recyclers to conclude. The single clip of Fairfield was the one thing posted previously, also notably captured in the same suburb on the same Thursday in April 2009 when I videoed Fairfield recycling for the first time - more would’ve been taken of this council MkIV, but this driver was finishing up. As for Penrith organics, this was some of the first FOGO collecting that happened in August 2009, even got the fresh body signage and the old SITA logo to speak of the date. All the Blacktown and Hawkesbury stuff was done on a Monday in January 2010, the Sidepak footage was definitely the coolest score that morning. I hope you viewers get some enjoyment out of this latest upload on behalf of an original KZbinr, be sure to watch this in the 720p quality too!
