I am really enjoying Update and when you break it, we are learning a lot of new things -- like the unnumbered blue helmet relic is something to look for. Kudos, my friend. At the end, your head-to-head comparison of hangers versus blasters was well worth the price of admission. No other breaker is offering such detail with their findings. If you can, continue breaking Update -- there are so many hidden gems.

I think topps did a good job of spreading the parallels and SPS around in retail. They've probably been seeing how many blasters they have left over compared to hanger boxes.

SS Trout on top of the J-Rod auto helmet, wow!! I like the speeding through but slowing down for hits as well as some non-hits (e.g. Brash gold) - keeps things interesting!, I thought you were just going to be stopping on big hits and it's nice to see some "misses" too in the sped up format.

I ripped 5 hangers and 2 blasters the other night pulled 3 SP's and a Seiya Suzuki HFA out of the hangers. Not much out of the blasters though.. Still have a Jumbo to bust open too..

Those batting helmets, I got Seattle jarred kelenic, and one is regular and the other is numbered to 299, and on the front the regular has white swish, and the numbered one I have to 299 is black where you were saying on that jd something looked diff, in that area.

What do you guys think has the best value between a 24 pack retail box for $85 or 3 blaster boxes for $75? Only 3 packs fewer and $10 less for the blasters. Blasters have 14 cards per pack and retail has 16 cards per pack, however.

Depends on the price. Both are good but if you find them in the wild at retail price, Hangers are a bit better. If you have to buy them online, at the current prices blasters are the better deal.

Stryker ! How we doing ? I’m kind of starting to think blasters might be the way to go right now? I just opened one from Walmart a couple hours ago and it was unbelievable. I got the Julio bat helmet, card, a green foil and a silver card and Bobby Topps chrome mlb stars and ! Stars of the MLB Topps chrome red out of 75 of Tim Anderson. plus another Bobby and Julio ! You can look at the serial number on the back of the card. The number will be different than a base card.
