Back in the day, the Blaster Dark Diablo Legend Deck was one of the easiest avenues to get into competitive Vanguard, so let's see if that held up in Zero with the big nerfs to Diablo and the other amazing Shadow Paladin archetypes existing!

Diablos bad is temporary, I will await when Spectral comes out. But yes it's a bit over nerfed, they could've just kept the force retire but still have the g3 guard restrict

Man kinda hurts me a bit knowing this deck is not as good as it was in the tcg. Money was tight for me to handle back then and the legend deck helped me out in budgeting to actually be competitive at the time. Made me feel really good to actually start winning in tournaments. Real nostalgic for me, here's hoping the legend and exceed won't get this same treatment.

I feel like if they kept the original guard restrict, they should either port forward g guards or change the condition for the guard restrict. They could easily make generic g guards just like with the generic strides. But they could also just change the condition with diablo like discard 3 or no guard at all. Sad that majority of the guard restricts will be discard a grade 3 to PG

one thing i hate about pbd diablo in zero, it considers "resist" units as targets, and since they don't get retired, the pg passive doesn't get activated. in tcg, since you can't choose the resist units, it usually meant a free no guard for pbd diablo for clans with many resist units, hope it gets fixed

11:50 They should make the effect of Diablo like the Aqua Force break ride unit (where it used to be discard a card if not you cannot guard back in the TCG) but in Zero it will need two PGs to activate. But for Diablo if you can't retire 2 then activate 2 pgs and if you can retire 2 restrict guard on Grade 0 but you only need 1 pg. Can someone send this possible change to Game studio to regain Shadows former glory a bit

No thank you I am actually a shadow main, but i am quite happy that the clan is not the big dog this time around (compared to previous releases). There are still wincons and lots of variations...buffing shadows will just made the clan into problem child and not fun to play against other decks.

I wanna bring something up that is completely unrelated to the vid. I play in global, and as we all know, the X got nerfed where you can't run Grom in the deck. So I wanna ask, is there any way you can get around that restriction because just now I saw someone run Grom in a deck with the X in it while I was grinding ranked. Is this some sort of glitch?
