Blaster Master also has a pause glitch, you can hit a boss with a grenade then pause the game. The explosion still hits the boss when the game is paused.

There is a glitch in blaster master that allows you to beat bosses while the game is paused. All you have to do is pause the game at the same moment you hit the boss with a grenade. You have to leave it paused for a while as the boss takes damage.

The animation of Sofia 3rd (vehicle) is so detailed. And the music was classic Sunsoft goodness. This game was always a blast to play.

"Is that giant frog related to Fred?" According to the games' novelization, that giant frog IS Fred. I used to love those books when I was a kid, I wish Nintendo would have put more of those books out. I had Ninja Gaiden, Wizards and warriors, Blaster master, I read through Ninja Gaiden and Blaster master in particular obsessively as a kid, and surprisingly they still hold up. Also in the book, there was already an alien bounty hunter or something similar to Samus piloting the tank and Jason teams up with her and a neighbor friend of his who also lost a pet that becomes one of the game bosses.

Similar but best game I played was Guardian Legend. Everyone should play that game from the music, multiple playstyles, progressive powerups. Its the best game NES has to offer.

The original Japanese versions story was about a complex war between alien races but when they localized they were like I'm not translating all that. Kid has frog and frog leads to tank. Ya that'll do
