KTM starts into the 2019 MotoGP season with tunnel vision!
Miguel Oliveira has opened the Gleinalm Tunnel in Styria with the KTM Factory Racing RC16 GP bike. The direct route to the Red Bull Ring is free once again.
Oliveira provided a fresh wind at the opening of the new Gleinalmtunnel: but instead of brass music there was the roar of a MotoGP engine. Did he have to pay the road toll?
The direct connection to the Red Bull Ring is now open once again. MotoGP fans have one more reason to look forward to the horesepower party of the year: the MotoGP at Spielberg. The Grand Prix of Austria will take place from 9 to 11 August, 2019.

I'll save you guys 3 minutes of your lives: there's barely 10-15 seconds of footage inside the tunnel and the rest is the riders just babbling on and on. Why not show the engine sound inside that tunnel? What a waste of a potentially great shoot.

Yes, but... Why the duck... err... music? KTM doesn't like the engine sound? KTM thinks clients do not like engine sound? Anyhow, a waste of opportunity to ride slowly beside a videoing car - I normally attach camera onto the bike and a mic under the seat so there is real sound of the engine and no wind rush. No empty words. In my case only a 1301 V-2 but nevertheless, I like it!
