Blastoff! Japan's H3 rocket launches advanced Earth-observing satellite on 3rd flight

Japan's H3 rocket launched the Advanced Land Observing Satellite-4 (ALOS-4; also known as DAICHI-4) from Japan's Tanegashima Space Center tonight on Jun 30, 2024 at 11:06 p.m. EDT (0306 GMT and 12:06 p.m. Japan Standard Time on July 1). Full Story: www.space.com/japan-alos-4-sa...

No onboard video is indeed frustrating. The trajectory announcements and transitions to control centers can occasionally be heard on other streams, especially NASA and ULA launches, but even those typically have a host that can interpret these for the viewer. EDIT: I forgot to mention Arianespace streams do this as well, but they are usually in French and then dubbed in (my native language) of English. This presenter seemed to translate everything from Japanese into English, including the more technical details.
