Wow, this game is surprisingly realistic! You have to plan your whole life around paying for fuel so you can use that fuel to go to work and pay for more fuel. Genius design!

This one looks awesome, Splat! Kudos to the Devs for really stepping up their game by releasing free demos in advance to the release. Games like Core Keeper, Nova Islands and now Blastronaut are having way better sales than a ton of games you have reviewed in the past. I think that in part this is due to them having very polished demos out ahead of release. They definitely have me hooked!

16:12 He was at 148/150 on the objective and instead of picking up 2 more rocks, he threw all of them into the furnace, reducing his count to 0/150. 🤦♂Although I think the game developers are really to blame here, if the task is "collect" 150 of something it should still count ones that you've traded or used. If it said "have" 150 of something then you would need to have all of them at the same time.

Played this during the steam demo fest and the main issue with it is that apart from the "new beginning" map which is somewhat handmade, the "core" experience with a random generated map lack a direction. You mine just for mining and there isn't much else to be doing. On top of that, the world generation is kind of basic right now. Hopefully next iterations will bring some more content and direction to it.

@@995cool What a totally pointless comment to make! Do you say that to everyone that points out any flaws in a game? It's a demo, so it's a work in progress that's going to change. Whence the fact that he hopes it will expand more in the future.

I'll be honest, the starting "explosive foam" gun seemed far superior to the lightning one.

Except for that whole "throws a portion of every dob of exploding foam back straight into your face" weirdness.
@wrongthinker8432 жыл бұрын
@@Dosbomber I think it bounces off if you pour more foam onto existing foam. Still, it's easier to compensate than the lighting, I think (and uses less fuel to blow up blocks).

The name itself had me interested. The base mechanic of digging the material to sell/smelt and get upgrades from, to go dig more is a good working loop. the different behaviour of guns i a nice surprise and I'm curious for more, gotta try it out now.

Things never happen "on" accident, they've only ever been by accident, like things happen by chance, or when something is by the by or when something else happens by happenstance. See how consistent English is? You do things on purpose, don't you, like you can do things on a whim, or on a fancy, or on an impulse. You see how the prepositions, apart from being consistent, denote intent? amazing, the sort of thing we teach to kids in Primary School, so where were you when that was being taught. How can you skip that and then do a geology degree? It can't be "on" accident. Seriously, why are you younger Americans doing that shit all of a sudden? It looks like you're assisting each other in being functionally illiterate, a specific problem to the US. English phrasal verbs are extremely specific and are not interchangeable. If someone is about to walk off a cliff, you don't shout out "look on", "look about", "look in" , no, only "Look out" would make any sense in that situation, not interchangeable, stop it. English also ceased to be a subjective language in Tudor times. When people do that since the 19th Century it is now taken as a sign of a lack of reading or literate conversation around that person.
