That is an awesome looking bit of kit and love the looks. As you say its that head unit that has the right period look but gives so much modern functionality. Think I may have to get this for the Merc 190 project as its just the look I know will look correct in the car but give me the audio quality I love.

Any idea how to hook the subwoofer up to this? It has a single sub out, but amplifier has two inputs. I tried a Y cable and it doesn't work. Nothing getting to the amplifier. Don't see a setting for turning sub out on or off, only a setting for crossover. Am I missing something?

I just got one for my Volvo 240. However, the volume buttons feels kinda wobbly. It moves from side to side, like it's loose. Does your volume buttom feel the same or is it something wrong with my unit?

@@paulfrancis4824 No, it seems to be like the more or less on every unit. However, I got an advice on how to fix it on your own. Just remove the button and add some tape around the axel to make the the gap smaller. I haven't tried it yet though.

Out of curiosity does the radio have a removal trim ring? Especially for cars that may have a flush fit and more rounded corners?

@@Studioincar thank you, I figured as much but was hoping it was not. I have a unique car and it’s only big enough for an single din aftermarket radio without the trim ring. Maybe I’ll see if I can locate another dash piece to cut but they only made 176 Panoz Roadster AIVs so I’d likely have to custom fab.

I can't find this forsale anywhere but your website, but I'm not dealing with International customs again. Hours on the phone giving out extremely sensitive personal information and paying hundreds in processing fees and customs import fees and taxes is way too big of a headache.

John McDonald Funny! I actually found one on eBay. It was shipped from the UK and it ended up fitting perfectly. I was even able to change the backlighting color to match the gauges. Good luck!

@@Studioincar I love most of the specs on this head unit, but I just figured out what DAB was...DAB broadcasting isn't available in the US; we have HD radio, which I listen to all the time. Different standards.

It’s a piece of junk, don’t buy it! I had it and after less than 2 months I needed to reset it every time as the controls on the headunit it self were not responding only the remote works, the volume knob is very wiggly as well, you only pay for the design and has really nothing to do with old Blaupunkt quality.
