I guess, Blawan has the PhD of distortion effect. I don't know how he makes stuff. this is really outer-world and unfriendly but at the same time, reminded me of the nature and comfort. It's like watching Annihilation movie again. Love this a lot. So excited for more new releases.

There's a paid online masterclass where he explains part of his process. Basically, whatever he records off his modular is sent through as many filters as possible. In the DAW, he sends that through other filters and distortions (like FilterFreak), then back out again into outboard gear, back into the DAW. Rinse and repeat several times.

He has said in interviews that he likes using dent2 as software saturation in DAW

No offence but every video has at least one of this kind of whiny comments and makes me go nuts. Like nobody cares, are you all asking him to make 'older' stuff as you please? Maybe because I love his newer stuff more and i feel they're becoming more and more interesting with each releases. I simply don't get the sentiment of asking an artist to 'go back' to their older route, it's just so boring opinion to have.
