We read your positive comments and to be honest with you I removed a few negative ones that detract from our mission to return home. I'm a 69-year-old African American born and raised in the southern part of the U.S. I've been through a lot. All and all, I do have a lot to be thankful for, despite Jim Crow, the Civil Rights Movement and much more. I'm energized by what I see happening in Africa now. If I were 30 years younger and didn't have Multiple Myeloma (a type of blood cancer), I would be there. Although I'm a 19-year survivor of this horrible disease, I'm dependent on cutting edge treatments found only in the West to keep me going. My wife and I are headed to Ghana though in May 2020 for ten days. I can't wait to get there. I'm exceedingly gleeful to see young folks like yourself making the connection to history that goes back for millennia.
