Brenda Sykes brings back some memories for me from the 70's. As someone who emerged from the Black is Beautiful movement in the 60's and early 70's, she became one of the embodiments of Black beauty in film and TV, along with Judy Pace, Cicely Tyson, and Teresa Graves, to name three other actresses of color. Like them, Brenda was the dark and lovely one. Miss her doing films and television. Thank you for uploading this video.

Brenda sykes. If you werent born in the 70s you wouldnt know of her. J.j.'s Memorable date mandy on a classic episode ofgoodtimes. when penny burned a hole in the couch playing with a cigarette. She definitely was sexy. But im kinda glad im old enough to be her son. She had a daughter by gil scott heron and gia, who also acts, keeps his legacy alive.
