Felicitation a ces 2 pompiers ,pour leur acte plus que courageux ,pour avoir sauve ces quatres touristes qui de toute evidence n'avaient pas pris bonne mesure des dangers de la baie.Chapeau bas au "vaillant" yves et la non moins "vaillante" julie pour cette "action de bravoure" ainsi qu' a loic venu en renfort juste apres avec son canot. happy end ,tout le monde en sort indemme.Meme si cela n'a aucune valeur vous avez mon plus humble respect. Chapeau bas à toute l'équipe. Une question me taraude cependant : on dirait que ces pompiers n'ont pas de gilet et comment se fait-il qu'ils aient mis tant de temps à envoyer un canoë ? Vu la réputation de la marée du coin et le fait qu'il y aura tjs des touristes inconscients, on s'attendrait à une réactivité et un équipement plus adapté. La, juste le temps que dure cette vidéo, on aurait pu avoir plusieurs noyés.

I've seen more than 1 stupid person being agressive to coastguards telling them not to swim near breakwaves that had to be rescued 10 minutes later. And we have a nice calm beach with tide coming in slowly ...

I used to be a baitdigger in the UK Have seen this many many times People from city's and other areas just don't know the nature of the seas Had to help many people get back to safe Worse probs are spring tides and horse shoe sand banks were the tide creeps in behind u I've been caught out in the past with water up to my neck Takes a lot to be really good at reading tides all year round

Je suppose que n'est jamais venue sur place pour comprendre pourquoi ce n'est pas possible! Ce qu'on voit sur le clip est l'une des deux rivières qui traverse la baie, et dont les routes changent régulièrement. Passée cette rivière, il ne reste que du sable jusqu'à la côte, sauf en cas de grande marée. On le met où le bateau?

Il y a du sable partout et l'eau que tu vois sur cette video ne vient généralement pas jusqu'au mont. Ce sont des rivières qui traversent la baie et qui changent en permanence de direction. La seule solution (et c'est celle qui a été adoptée récemment), c'est un aéroglisseur, qui se déplace aussi bien sur sable que sur l'eau

Puisque vous n’êtes manifestement jamais allé sur place et que vous prenez les pompiers pour des idiots (vous pensez vraiment que si un jet ski ou un canot de sauvetage avait été utile, ils ne s’en seraient pas équipé d’un?), sachez que ce sont les pompiers eux mêmes qui ont décidé de s’équiper de cet engin et qu’il a coûté 70000 euros. Eux savent de quoi ils parlent, eux connaissent les difficultés que posent la baie du mont en matière de secours et eux savent ce qui peut les aider à assurer leur mission en minimisant les risques. Les yakafokon qui se prennent pour des génies devraient quitter leur canapé et aller sur place (ce serait en plus une bonne opportunité de se cultiver un peu). A bon entendeur

@@areguapiri it is not possible to organize a rescue by boat there. The water does not reach the shore (only when there is a very high tide, 2 or 3 times a year max). What you see on this clip is a river in the middle of the bay, which has changing routes. The only way to rescue people there is by air. If it was possible to organize a rescue by boat, they of course would have organized that, don't you think?

Pour les sauvetages il ya les helico, ya aussi le hovercraft (l'aéroglisseur), voir (francetvinfo.,08/04/2022). Au Mont Saint Michel (avant le 2014) les pompiers pensaient même aux voitures oubliées par les touristes pendant les hautes marées.

If I learnt anything is that when the locals leave the beach you need to leave too. Was at Dieppe beach had a thousand people at it so my group went swimming as well (was rather odd knowing there were war graves just 20 feet out in tanks at the bottom) anyways we were enjoying the cool water when we suddenly noticed the beach was empty and were like huh odd must really hate Canadian tourists, not one person was like hey fk faces get out of the water, the French are known to be jerks and sure enough that tide came in like stupid crazy fast one minute we like huh thats odd where is everyone to going oh man there's a drop off here and cant touch bottom and h the beach is getting far away wtf oh the tide oh fk. Swim. Like over 5 minutes went from a pleasant soak to a fight for our lives. Even a French cop was snikering at us and I wanted to punch him in the face like wtf France. Youd think there be a sign or something

For such historic and world famous tourist attraction I am sure they could stretch to a inflatable boat or two for just this type of scenario but then again all available inflatable boats are needed further up the coast to ferry illegals to the UK.

io ero proprio accanto a loro. Li ho sentiti da lvivo. c'è anche la mia voce in questo video. Quando la corrente li porta via e cominciano ad urlare terrorizzati tento di dir loro di non cercare di raggiungee la riva ma di afare il morto e stare a galla, ma non ci riesco tanto bene. Alla fine sono stati recuperati dall'elicottero. La cosa assurda è che lì hanno anche un gommone, ma lo tengono in un punto dove l'acqua arriva molto tardi, e tralaltro doveva fare il giro attorno a tutta l'isola per raggiungerli, visto che al tempo c'èra uns strada costruita su un supporto rialzato che faceva si che il posto non diventassi più un'isola con l'alta marea. Il gommone è arrivato addirittura DOPO l'elicottero per recuperare i due soccorritori.
