45mm, 65mm, 85mm, 100mm Blazar Remus 1.5x anamorphic lenses. The 45, 65, and 100mm are blue flare, and the 85 is silver. You can too that they have great color matching throughout the set... Just a living room test...

This is closest distance? I have 45mm and I cant decide which to buy: 85 or 100 :)

Wow❤, thank you for your input. Which one is your favourite ( quality wise)?
@redbeardproductions-kevind98062 ай бұрын
@@andyz_w3584 they're all nice. I guess I have a soft spot for the 65mm though.

Quality wise, they are the same really. Same build and everything is solid. It depends on how much character you want vs. how clean you want it, and sharp vs soft. The 65mm is fairly sharp, but funky around the edges. The 85mm is about the same sharpness, but is cleaner around the edges... stuff like that

Did you shim any of these to improve sharpness? Thanks
@redbeardproductions-kevind98062 ай бұрын
@@tjpenton I did shim them, but it doesn't make that big of a difference. If you're looking for a sharp lens, go spherical.

Is that a silver flare on the 45mm? It said blue but looks silver
@redbeardproductions-kevind9806Ай бұрын
@@mbractor no, just the 85mm. The blue flares are very subtle, and will take on some of the source color.

The focus breathing on the 45mm is so bad it acts like a zoom lens.
@redbeardproductions-kevind9806Ай бұрын
They do breathe a lot - but that's just the classic anamorphic style, and charm i would say. If you want a clinical lens definitely look at spherical lenses.
