DAN the antenna is so it can communicate with your phone when your setting up the camera via your phone. The picture quality was really good.

Wifi and Bluetooth might benefit from the antenna, also people might think it's a cellular camera and are less likely to mess with it. Night time lighting looks good. My Camparks could use a diffuser being they're on the bright side.

I found this little tidbit The name monkey nut comes from a time when whole raw peanuts were a popular food for monkeys in zoos, and it has stuck around ever since

If you use rechargeable batteries the company makes a small solar panel to charge the batteries during the day, that most likely how you can get so many months of continuous use out of this trail cam.
