Damn your eyes, it's just as shitty as it looks. Another near dead, dying Democrat shithole. New York state is hemorrhaging people at record pace it's so miserable there, and Salamanca is listed as 1 of the 10 WORST places in NY. Now THAT sir is an accomplishment worthy of distinction.

Salamanca is a lot better right now, a lot more road work has been done, Main street looks a lot better now because they tore up all the old patch work and brick. (The one with bad looking buildings)

This was obviously shot on a Sunday morning...only early on Sunday and on the holidays are the downtown streets deserted like this. Salamanca is actually a beautiful place to live. I've lived all over the United States...and this is my first choice for places to live. Because Salamanca isn't about the empty buildings and deserted streets. It's about THE PEOPLE...it's about the beauty of nature all around...it's about the sound of little league baseball, football and soccer...it's about the beautiful winter snowfalls...it's about the "spirit" of continuing to try to live in a special place and balancing what makes it special with the idea of what "revival" would do in favor...but more likely what it would destroy...if it ever happened here! Salamanca is one of those cities where you see what you focus on!!!
