Will you ever show us how to do sprite detection instead of color detection? Color detection can be quite limited, but I get why you didn't show sprite detection because it would be very tricky for beginners to figure out how to structure levels. I wonder if there's a good workflow for creating levels with multiple sprites.

It’s simple for constructing levels you can first construct base level and then separate level and danger into different sprites checking for level collision and danger collision instead of Colour detection

Since geometry dash uses a grid, you could make a grid level editor but griffpatch already made 2 tutorial series using that! I wonder if it's possible to drag and drop a level editor sprite from a previous tutorial.

Love the tutorials so far! I would love the a tutorial for wave game mode too. Also a quick note, in Geometry Dash when in ship mode you accelerate up, more particles shoot out and they are a reddish color.

Still can't figure out how to put text in a corner with 50% size and then text in the middle of the screen 200% size at the same time showing. And we also want those text effects you talked about, now that would be exciting. That, I am very sorry to say, is Scratch. There's nothing we can do about it. It does look worse sometimes in my videos because the screen recorder grabs at 30 fps, but my screen in 60fps, and sometimes Scratch jumps back and forward between drawing on either pair of frames... TurboWarp gives a smoother experience. I wish Scratch would attach their screen redraw to the screen refresh, that would improve things a lot

Hey so I was trying to make a game and I ran into a problem that I can’t find a solution to on the internet and maybe you can help? I’m creating a 2D game where the player stays stationary in the middle and the map moves based on the direction of the player. Essentially a top down game. I was trying to add surround sound using the pan block but I’ve run into an issue. I want to have the surround sound based upon the direction of the player. So if the sprite is the the left of the way the player is facing it will be more to the left. This means if the player is facing 180 degrees it needs to pan the opposite way of if it was facing 0 degrees. I’ve been scratching for a while on this one and can’t find a solution.

About the face tracking - ​​⁠ It is! Would you like to see it? I’ve spent a while making it! What it does is it chooses colours in a circle on the screen (that you put your face in) and using your tutorial it saves the colours to a list. Then a seperate sprite goes from top left to bottom right every screen refresh and if it is touching the colour it saves the position to another list. Then ANOTHER sprite calculates the average x and y and goes to the location. It then changes size based on the length of both lists! Let me know if you want the project link!
