this might be a little late but you sound good. music quality is generally good, and you have an awesome voice without having to use Melodyne or something. only drawback- when you drive the much gain through the mic in an untreated room you're going to get lots of unwanted sound in your mix (air, moving around, mouth noises) it's better to roll back on the gain and stand somewhat closer. a+ vocals!!!! keep the amazing singing up!

I've learned it through my brother, who learned some from professional recording Engr., and my brother is also self-taught. With my old recordings, its my brother who did it in cool edit pro. And I'm thankful to my brother I'm able to do this by myself now. :-)

@IndoChink The Behringer B-2 is merely the omnidirectional version of the B-1, which is cardioid; I believe it has two B-1 diaphragms placed back to back to achieve this. Therefore the B-2 will exhibit the same audio characteristics as the B-1. My Behringer B-1 was distinctly harsh, creating more transient peaks, whereas the AT2035 is smoother and more accurate. If you like harsh then it's the Behringer, but if you want more fidelity, pay twice the price for AT2035 - it weighs much less too!

@buffyxangelll : Don't ever buy the at2020 usb, you cannot monitor your vocals on the headphones while singing recording. Go get the at2035 and connect it to an interface. at2035 is more expensive but it's of hi quality and standard. I'm sing at2035

yes indeed xlr mics are the best to use in recordings bcoz u can use an interface and set right balance and you can edit the vocals like the pro. but with usb, it's impossible, I tried it and returned the usb mic.

It sounds good but if you use the "not usb mic at2035 it sounds even more better. I've tried it. Yes you need to have high quality sound card on ur pc if you will use usb mic. But if you use corded mic you can use your interface or mixer. It will sound even better. be sure to play with right mixing and editing too.

@BLBHH Not sure I understand, why you cant monitor your vocals ( you mean listen to your singing as it goes into the computer? if your using the UBS mic? why) cant u just plug headphones into the headphone jack on your computer and it will let you hear it. What interface are you on about?
