Cowman , you are actually wrong about ichigo's 1st sa, its worse than uryu's beam. The problem with his 1st sa is that, even if u manage to land all the hits( it has 24 hits) ,the damage amounts only to a normal strong attack, and because it's range collision you will almost never do the full damage . It's not a beam with 4200 range but a projectile style attack, aka your typical range collision attack , it's just that this time it's cross style/shaped. Hiken already pretty much explained this , this sa is pretty bad. I just saw that a lot of people got confused about this strong attack thinking it's a new op sa, which unfortunately is not the case .

@@CannonAbuser not really ,it pushes the enemy away which you definitely don't want for a sub 5sec run. It's literally a worse strong attack from all perspectives. As I said ,even if you land all the hits ,it does not do more damage than a normal sa. It's not like bruno's 40% range collision that can do more damage than a beam.

@@moonless938 if ur doing sub 3 to even 2 sec clears. The beam is awful. U have to do full screen, sa2 if it's the 960 front and soul bomb at almost the same fraction of a sec. He is a gq unit. Beam doesn't full clear a wave in gq and that's where he was truly meant for. Again range collision is iffy in most content even in gq but with rankings , it doesn't matter its all about the range, dmg and luck. Considering any CD is pointless in speed running. Now that its a mini full screen, the RNG and the range is better for a close space room like gq hard content since in beam u have to cast beam, walk full screen,sa2 and soul bomb. Now u have to walk up, full screen, sa1, sa2 and soul bomb or whatever the combination will be. That walking up part early takes less time than doing ur combo with a pause because of the walk up part.

and here we are again trashing characters that didnt even come out... in the datamine onn reddit it says mags 120% on the 1st SA but yeah in the video the values seem low BUT a ranged collision on a SP boost char is pretty good to help you get the boost all the time and the total range of the 1st is stupid good, its like having 4 x2100 one in each direction.... just wait and see
