It wasn't that he was cocky or forgot, it's that he didn't want anyone to see it, if he had uses it in the seireitei almost everyone would have been able to feel the massive amount reiatsu it would've released and a bunch of people would have seen it

it makes me so sad thinking how amazing bleach would be if it had ended after soul society arc it would be one of the best anime's,manga's he should have ended it instead of dragging it out because it was so popular :( tite kubo would probably be regarded as one of the top manga artists but everybody gives out about him because of the later storyline and the anime fillers :(
