It’s a great example of why games are so special to fans. The devs being able to add extra flair to a character’s moveset makes them such a fun experience. The Naruto Storm games had a lot of unique moves that characters could have done in the series but never did. I’m excited to see what they do with this!

Each character with their own mechanics reminds me of burning blood, a one-piece game where everything was lore accurate. Like logia being game to ignore attacks by holding a button but fire couldn't phase for lava for example or haki attacks hitting through it

The bankai getsuga is still black and red which is very strange considering the Shikai one is gold. And everything otherwise seems to be tybw colors. Not a problem really. Just strange. So far they’ve only shown us special/super moves. I really need to see gameplay. It is another interesting decision for sure that they’ve shown us like 10 special moves and not a drop of open gameplay. I just want to see more of this game. And hear the full version of the cour 3 opening it’s getting hard to wait for this stuff I’m anticipating it so much.

Amazing video as always and I have to say that this new mechanic Soul Destruction it looks very similar to Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy when in response to a hit you Stop the Time for a bit and use Your EX caugue to slowdown you rival for a couple of seconds to beat him, alternatively to simply use the Liberation with the Full EX Caugue. I really think this is inspired a lot by that game and hope you can made Air impulses in any directions or just step in air like in Budokai Tenkaichi games.

Very Bushido Blade-like, where the focus is in strategy in order to deliver a one-hit finishing blow. My guess is that characters will have, instead of an HP bar, a "shield" meter. Once that's depleted, they'll be opened for a Soul Destruction instakill, like when you crash an opponent's poise in Sekiro. Once you Soul Destruction an enemy, they can power up and get attacks that can better break away the shield of the opponent, but they'll be at one Soul Destruction away from KO themselves. I can see some characters being much better while they're at the precipice of defeat because their final forms are super OP, so a strategy would be being cocky like in Bleach and get beat down on purpose.

The Fullbringer arc would make a GREAT dlc as sort of self contained and small as it is. While TYBW could be a whole ass sequel. And the roster could be nuts just these arcs. 6 mains + 2 (Yoruichi and Urahara), 13 Captains, 10 Espada, some of the vice captains, Ikakku and Yumichika, a couple of the Vizards at least, we're already looking at a plausible 40ish character roster for a new game.

I'm hoping, with the limited story they are intentionally doing (Otherwise really weird to pick the Arrancar arc as the stopping point) that they add smaller characters that had maybe a few minutes of total screen time as playable characters. Would love to see that one character Chad and Orihime face against when they got split up in the Soul Society arc.

The game will take place from the beginning of the series until aizens defeat. I can see them maiing TYBW a 40$ dlc and considering how long it is it is 100% justified. But I think they'll save Lost Agent and TYBW for a sequel if this game does well.

All they have to do is take previous games and make it better. Arcade fights, open areas, leveling up, a well made story mode, and unlike Soul Resurrection, a good character selection. Other games already do this. Bleach has had 20 years now.

I'm skeptical about this game, 1v1 arena is the main concern, Soul Resurreccin formula is better imo with 1v1 againts boss (and there is space for multiplayer) secondly why stops before TYBW? Anime most likely to be finished by the time the game is released. Overall I can't wait to see the finished game and play but yeah I have my concerns.

Tbh I like the 1v1 format. For me team battles always kinda get boring and for a while people seem to always rely on that play style. We had a fair share of team based games especially for Arena fighters from the last couple of years so this feels refreshing.
