Harribel's Fracciones have great banter even if it's occasionally threats among themselves. Their loyalty is certainly strong for Harribel regardless. Yamamoto just destroying Ayon will always be iconic of Fake Karakura. Just shows where he stands compared to virtually everyone else there.

That cold and serious exterior is her trying hard to fit into the role of a captain but every now and then she yells and gets visibly upset. She has a very explosive personality much like her bankai. Read my other comment I left on her and you'll understand a bit more why she acts soo serious. But as for her explosive and emotional personality it's shown a lot. She's the only Captain we've seen cry really and every time there's something shocking to everyone she's the only one to yell about how unfair it is because she can't hold herself back (can't go into specifics just yet)

I remember I used to hate Soi Fon when i first watched Bleach years ago (i also didn't like the anime) but she's nowadays one of my favorite captains. She's a bit of an odd character. She was devoted to Yoruichi and even idolized her and even when she left she wasn't mad that Yoruichi abandoned her duties but she was upset that Yoruichi didn't take her with her. She never wanted to be a captain or a stickler for the rules but rather someone who would be able to stick by Yoruichi's side (kinda similar to Orihime wanting to be able to stand by Ichigo's side and not need him to save her) however she essentially had no choice after Yoruichi left and you can't really blame her when she didn't know the full story of why Yoruichi left. Her stickler for the rules persona is just a facade, something that was put on her because she had big shoes to fill but you'll see what she's really like in some way which I'll talk about when you get there.

Hallibel's three Fracciones each embody an animal that is one part of the classic chimera, or at least adjacent. I think the hooved part of the classic chimera is a goat rather than a reindeer, but it's close enough. The other mammalian part of the classic chimera is some manner of feline, either a lion or a tiger or something like that. And obviously the snake tail, as in the tail is a snake. It's never explained why they can do that, but the inspiration is obvious, especially once you see Ayon.

Having this many fights makes it feel like a war, and it makes the espada seem like a big deal by each of them having fracciones, just like the captains have their liutenants. The Soul Society have too many soul reapers to count, so making it to liutenant level is no easy feat, so it's good to see what they can do. This is all a building up to the big bads, but it's still an entertaining building up. As someone who already finished the manga, I like to see your progression of it, no spoils of course.

Omaeda and soifon do the DB where the bigger character is strong sure but the smaller character is stronger. However, when soi fon says her allies present a chance to defeat her enemies thats like THE EXACT DESCRIPTION FOR HER VICE CAPTAIN. I didnt wanna spell the L word. Anyways, what i mean is Omaeda is a part of the stealth force but you can clearly tell his base personality is loud and obnoxious. Almost a verbatim “LOOK AT ME OBVIOUSLY DONT LOOK AT WHAT MY CAPTAIN IS DOING BEHIND YOU.” Bec she would trust her second to be able to handle himself even if she thinks hes dimwitted. He didnt get to be her second for no reason. So he’s a loud goofball to distract from her subtly. Present the opportunity for her opponents to deal with him either bec hes weaker or more annoying and she can operate as she should.

to be fair this part of the arc was great for giving some screentime to a few people, not everything can always be the captains showing off, but I have to commend Kubo on being able to actually maintain such a huge cast, it is part of why Bleach for me feels like a whole world, there's so many characters that feel unique and even with their set of powers actually being different, it's something I find incredibly impressive

Of course Aizen would never love someone, but Momo certainly did have some feelings, if that was just admiration or actual carnal desire is arguable. Either way Kubo most likely as a joke did confrim that "Aizen and Momo had more then a captain and lieutenant relationship"

Granted, his initial appearance is rather youthful but Momo also looks pretty young - similar to Toshiro who, after all, is in fact supposed to look like a child. Before he makes his betrayal public, Aizen looks like he might be around thirty years old - maybe twenty-something, maybe closer to forty. Momo, however, is clearly adolescent and looks not much older than Toshiro. If I recall correctly, his demeanour to her is also rather paternal, and hers almost resembles that of a small child who may need to be tucked in by their parents.

@@xCorvus7x I never once got Parent-Child feeling from the two, also not to sound like a creep but like age isn't a thing you focus on in the Soul Society. It's deceptive. They are both clearly adults (even if Aizen is clearly a lot older then Momo considering he was a captain and she was a student). I say clearly as they are in a military organization and besides Yachiru the act like adults even if it's closer to 20 somethings. To me it was one sided adoration rather then mutual love. Like a fan girl pinning for a celebrity.
