This cour had the finish of the fight between Ichibei vs Black Ant, then Yhwach vs Ichigo, Uryu vs Ichigo, Uryu vs Renji, Mayuri and Nemu vs Pernida, Shunsui and Nanao vs Lille and Bazz vs Jugo, all amazing fights, and we're yet to see the finale.

If I remember correctly, they are exactly like shinigami. As long as they're around a lot of reishi they stop aging pretty much completely. So if they're in the human world its a few hundred years unless they're in areas like karakura then it can extend. But if they're in areas like soul society, wanden, etc thousands of years is slight work. Humans really are the only ones dying fast. 😂

I'm guesing the end of "The Last Word" will be Ichigo's final encounter with Yhwach then when the next cour starts again it will rewind to the Gerard fight and that will probs be like 3-6 episodes of just Askin and Gerard.
