@@salamanderred8148 The basis of the skill is that ONE hit would be enough to kill IF that one hit was able to hit. The reason it splits into 3 hits is to make sure the sword hits even if the swallow gets out of the way. If the Dragon is weak enough to die in one hit, it will die to three hits. If it can withstand a certain number of hits before dying, then the sword strike itself is just weaker, nothing more. The point of the NP is not power but skill, a guaranteed hit. Thus, the skill IS complete. It would only be incomplete against an opponent that can feasibly slip between all three blades at the moment of impact.

Kojiro is one of my favorite type-moon characters, I’m glad there are other fans of his out there repping him. Your assessment of him is pretty good, but I do have a few things to add: 1. Kojiro is aware of his weaknesses, and has a fighting style which is deliberately based around forcing the opponent into a situation advantageous to him. If he’s put in a fight with someone who has a lot of ranged attacks, he’ll try and corner them into getting into melee with him. 2. There’s an old interview with Nasu where he states that if he wanted, Kojiro could imbue the properties of Tsubame Gaeshi into all of his attacks, but he simply doesn’t feel the need to in most of the fights he’s in. 3. Not a correction or addition, but just want to mention, Kojiro's specialization really reflects his character. He’s an eccentric who devoted his life entirely to mastering the sword, to the detriment of everything else. He is someone who put everything into a single skill and nothing more. His hyper-specialized abilities as a servant are a perfect portrayal of this. Unfortunately, there’s a bit of dumb wank you mention offhand which I’d like to correct. It’s not really about Kojiro but it seems like you’re misinformed on a few things. I wouldn’t say that Herc is mountain-level based on that one bit of narration. None of Herc’s attacks have actually shown that kind of destructive power, it seems to just be hyperbole. Shirou exaggerates a lot of fights that way (he says that EMIYA and Cu traded a hundred blows in their first fight, while Cu states that he only broke 17 of EMIYA’s swords). Artoria, Medusa, and Cu do have abilities with that kind of destructive power, so I doubt you’d need to. The speed wank post you linked in the description is absurd. Artoria’s Excalibur is described as being a bright light. Thing is, almost all magical energy attacks in fantasy are that way, especially those in Fate. Are we supposed to assume that all magical energy attacks move at light speed because they give off a bright light? Not to mention how Shirou, Kiritsugu, and all the other Servants are capable of seeing it move, both in FSN and Zero. None of them have shown speed feats even close to casually moving FTL (Kerry can alter time, but that’s a bit different in terms of mechanics). The idea that Iskandar is FTL doesn’t really hold any water without this Excalibur wank.

We see in the ubw anime that hes exchanging multiple attacks with him meaning their taking multiple attacks before breaking. Moreover it doesnt need to be shown? It would also very likely annhilate everything in its path in the blink of an eye. But it doesn't, cos Gil actually dodges it in Zero as does Iskandar, which would mean that Gil and Iskandar are either FTL or the Excalibeam isn't FTL.

(The attack delivers damage equal to the opponent's own health limit plus the damage from the spear itself, so the wound will be fatal no matter the opponent once they are struck. If the target has "100 HP", the attack will deliver "the damage caused by the spear + 100."[8] This makes it especially effective against those with high durability, even those who can survive being hit by Excalibur.[10]Even someone like Arcueid Brunestud, who is very much superior in numbers compared to Lancer, would be killed as long as she wasn't saved by her luck.[11] There is a small disadvantage against Servants who can move around even without their hearts like Heracles. The very reason, why they are grouped as "Saber" class in the first place. Swordmanship. While I know that Arturia, Siegfried, Lancelot and the rest have superb swordmanship, almost none of them has ever go far beyond human swordmanship. Or in simple ranking, while they have A rank or S Rank Swordmanship, Kojiro and the likes, surpass them with SS rank or SSS Rank in Swordmanship, that dude do nothing but swinging his sword just to kill a Swallow in mid flight, while Arturia and the rest"Beam Spam" if they are cornered. Arturia NP is Excalibeam, by which i would say her most powerful attack is "Beam Spam" or "Kamehameha thrown from a Sword", which IMO, Archer Style NP, dudette, where the heck is your pride in your Swordmanship? Lancelot, almost the same. Siegfried, also almost the same. Sasaki Kojiro, or the likes like him, is far better IMO to be the Grand Saber.

@@haou5288 technically, Gil's Ea is far stronger Swordlike weapon, and Lancelot's Arondight (at least in Wiki) can nullify Excalibeam, so Excalibur is the strongest sword is up to debate. But I must agree with you too. Gil doesn't know how to use Ea to fight hand to hand, other than unleash it's NP from the start. While Ea is stronger, i believe Arturia will just blow that weapon away from Gil's hand of they ever decided just to do sword fight, far better and faster than Shiro low rank Swordmanship overwhelm Gil's even lower Swordmanship. So our cute MC will get the title Grand Saber, because her not high enough Swordmanship is backed by one of the strongest sword.

There are many non-Sabers who use swords, I believe at least one in every other class at this point. I don't believe Artoria should be Grand Saber though, but whoever IS Grand Saber needs both high swordsmanship AND high physical and magical strength AND probably a broken ability in addition to that. In other words, potentially both a physical Sword Noble Phantasm AND a metaphysical sword skill Noble Phantasm like Kojiro.

idk about cu chullain , kojiro has a good kit for countering cu. his protection from arrows wouldn't mean jack shit against kojiro like it has against emiya. plus we need to factor their personality as well . doubt that cu would just throw his spear at kojiro before having a proper engagement first. in the other hand kojiro isn't shy to using his trump card first. so it boils down to whoever uses NP first. plus hassan beat cu , which is a weaker assassin at that time when cu fought him. against emiya yeah i would rank kojiro above him , kojiro have the kit to destroy emiya. plus emiya is a type of person who would runaway from fights if he thinks he has no chance of winning. he probably did so. and he needs substantial amount of time to cast UBW while kojiro's noble phantasm is almost instantaneous. makes you wonder if he was summoned as a proper servant as a saber what skills should he have?

Hassan didn't kill Cu in a proper fight, he had to lure him into the grail to beat him. Up until the grail attacked Cu, he had Hassan dead to rights that whole fight. Hassan did beat Cu, but not on his own, so it is just wrong to say that loss to Hassan makes him weaker than Hassan.

I would argue against the ''Rider going toe to toe with Alter'' Rider is no match for Alter Saber. The only thing that gave her a little chance was her speed. And even with that she couldnt land a single blow on Saber who was way slower and had less instinct in her alter form. The moment she slowed down just a bit, Saber would cut her in a single strike. Regardless, Rider at full power is very awesome :D

Btw in the movie Its the other way around yeah her speed was the only way she could fight Saber alter. I personally think your scaling is off to say the least. I did a calc on Emiya's speed, where he fired a NP at Hercules from four kilometers in 2 seconds, making him hypersonic+. And kojiro only intercepted artoria's Excalibur, so that's like saying a human is hypersonic cause they dodged a bullet before it's fired. Furthermore, herc being mountain buster is only said as a throw a way line. And Emiya was said to be able to only able to destroy a house, and was able to kill Hercules a few times, so that also makes no sense.

Long argument: this is because Ive looked into their stats, thier skills and Nps. Emiya: He can only hold out for so long against Kojiro. Unlimited Blades Works would be his best bet, assuming Kojiro lets him. Saber: If Artoria were to use Excalibur at full power, then yeah. She would win. If not, she would get throttle by Kojiro. She only won that fight due to plot. Medusa: She simply needs to use her mystic eyes to end the fight. Close fight with Kojiro will not go well for her. She may have B ranked strength, but Kojiro has A+ speed and he simply needs to close quarters. Hes not a master swordsman for nothing. Cu: fight against cu would be interesting since both thiers weapons are phenomen in their own rights. Gae Bolg reverses causality while Monohoshizao(Kojiros blade) can overlap dimensions, mimicing the second magic. I'd like to see which one would win. Hercules: Herc would blitz Kojiro, hands down. Kojiro may has higher speed, but that means little to someone with higher strength, multiple lives, and high endurance. Medea: Unless Kojiro was a Saber, magic is his kryptonite. She will try to keep away from him as much as possible. Gilgamesh: Kojiro would not last long. Gil can just simply bombard Kojiro with blades. Unless he can close the gap, he wont hold out for long. Unlike Emiya, gil can use his gate of Babylon, whenever and wherever. Cursed Hassan: Kojiro has higher speed and need to simply close the gap since Curses Arm is not a master of close quarters. In terms of Zabaniya, Kojiro can cut off the arm and gun straight for him before arm transforms into a demon. Saber Alter : She would go all out and shut him down right then and there.

I don't know if this is shown in the Heaven's Feel movie or not because I haven't seen it yet and can't remember if it was supposed to happen there. But supposedly, in the off-screen battle between Herakles and Kojiro, Kojiro is being directly assisted by both Medea AND Medea's enchantments on Ryuudou Temple which directly weakened Herakles and forced him to retreat. I believe that in a true one-on-one Herakles would completely dominate Kojirou, because his Noble Phantasm is the only move he has which would be able to injure Herakles and there's no way he's killing all 12 lives at once with it.

@@supersaiyin2366 I don't know much about dragon ball, so I can't fairly evaluate your statement, but I can say for sure that if you don't know much about Fate you'll be very surprised by the powers of some of these guys. Even leaving out certain deep-lore entities.
