I dnt think he cared about people roasting him…it was his ex wife that was repeatedly getting roasted. Tom said he regrets it due to how his children felt about it. Kevin Hart was pretty much alluding that Tom regrets not telling the roasters that his ex wife was not to be discussed.

There were some excellent moments that far outweighed any of the jokes that seemed to be off limits bc of his ego or emotions. Those comments and jokes were being said about him for years. Him taking it in a roast made me like him for those moments. This coming from a NY GIANTS fan. We saw the moments he stood up for himself. Now him acting hurt makes it lame.

nah the roast was supposed to be between friends in relative privacy. Being roasted by your peers and close friends is one thing but a bunch of comics you don't know is a bit different. Yes when they talk about your kids and your wife that just left you
