He’s part of the reason why NBA had to change the rules on drawing foul. He was miles ahead of the entire leagues for years in drawing foul, and putting opponent defenders in trouble early. And also creating moves that changed current and futures NBA players. Of course he’s top 75, probably top 30 of all time.
@clevisbernier89732 жыл бұрын
that's not a compliment. The rule change removes "non basketball plays" - essentially flopping. They changed the rules because James (among others) weren't playing basketball anymore. They were playing some bullshit flopping game. Compare that to when they actually had to change the rules because Wilt was dominating by playing actual basketball. Not the same thing.
@sganet_2 жыл бұрын
@@clevisbernier8973 That’s just your opinion, this is literally a game and competitors will do what it takes to push the rule limits to win. This happens across all sports. If what he did was against the rules then refs or NBA should have addressed it right when it happened. It’s like blaming rich people for not paying taxes just because they used legal tax loopholes. And Harden wasn’t the only one, CP3 and many other players also benefited from various loop holes.
@clevisbernier89732 жыл бұрын
@@sganet_ It's not my opinion it's literally the rule change that was made. It excludes non basketball plays. They did address it by changing the rules lol. Because James was cheating. I'm not saying other players weren't doing it either but you're making it sound like some sort of accomplishment like it was for Wilt Chamberlain when all it was is a rule to stop James from flopping so much. If anything it's an insult to his game rather than a compliment.
@sganet_2 жыл бұрын
@@clevisbernier8973 you don’t know what you are talking about lol, they already addressed flopping with new rules a few seasons ago. This new foul drawing rule is new, which means they weren’t illegal in prior seasons. You are saying he was cheating, and that’s completely illogical. You can’t add a new rule and apply it retroactively stupid. What he in previous seasons were completely legal and they are basketball plays according to the rules at the time. Remember this is a game, and you able to do anything to your advantage that does not break the rules. Matter of fact, everyone is given the exact same set of rules, why is Harden able to get way more out of it than everyone else? Is it not because he’s competitive and creative? Just admit you are a hater and move on lol, rules is changed and I’m sure he’ll find another way to get an edge over everyone else. It’s called skills and creativity.

@@martindedvukaj8013 ivee always agreed with what you said, everybody keeps saying im a clown and all that, but against the prime warriors, james harden had the WINNINEST RECORD out of everybody against them. in 2020 he averaged 40 for 2 and a half months, and if russel wasnt there he would of bet the prevous seson in socring and rebounds , (which was top5 highest scoring avrg ever in a season,) and averaged a block and top 5 in steals, people take him for granted soooo much, but there was, and will be a better skilled player then harden and kd.

". . . Ever?" That second one pulled at my heartstrings. It's like he couldn't believe it the first time and was expecting a trick. The Beard has really paved the way for modern basketball as much as Steph. Rings don't always show the impact.

I'm not the biggest harden fan and I've been critical of his postseason play but he definitely deserves to be in that bracket period. He is well deserving of it. Hes made NBA history, hes shown and proved as best as he could and can and he does give it his all on that court. Even the biggest hater of him cant even say he doesnt belong on that list.

Truly undeserved. He hasn't won anything and his splits are terrible. Even amongst high volume three point high usage shooters, he is always at the bottom of the top 25 3PA players every season. His production also falls off in the playoffs more than nearly any other all-star over the past 10 years consistently, backed up by stats of course. People watch him make a step back once every four tries and get excited while completely ignoring the reality of his inefficiency and lack of success.
