We found out my girlfriend was pregnant last year. I found this song the same week, it was February and I remember just driving down dark, snowy streets in our town, excited, scared, humbled . The slow transfer of vocals from Jack to Bruce is an ingenious form of respect because it shows that Anatoff's voice is really only there at the beginning due to Springsteen's underlining influence on him. Jack's music seems so timeless. I remember playing "Gone Now" in the kitchen while I was baking cookies and my brother liked it, then my mom and her bf entered the kitchen and stayed to listen because the music sounded so familiar yet interesting and different.
