This is my first contact with Jack's own music, and I am pleasantly surprised. A gentle, honest, non-pretentious track with captivating mood and melodies, I'm even getting mild Bon Iver vibes... If the rest of the album is like this, I'm interested.

I’ve been a bleachers fan since the beginning. I met Jack in summer of 2014. I was already a huge fan, and he was genuinely so nice, humble and was surprised we were going to his show. Still here 10 years later and just as impressed as the first time I heard I wanna get better. After I met him I posted on social media “I just met the future rock legend Jack Antonoff.” And I could not have been more right. THIS is my new favorite bleachers track. This is simply perfect. I have no doubt I’ll be saying the same thing when the next album comes out. ❤

Lyrics We were just kids It wasn't over when it ended Our ballroom bliss Counterfeit under extended I knew your touch I knew your weather We were the same, faith is change Read our doctrine, ooh So pour me a glass and I'll tell you 'bout our war-torn born and raised dumb How we never found the line My mind is mirrors, don't know what is and what's reflection Future's past, I'm right on time I was just a kid Born from another A little trick, a giant miss Didn't matter Now I'm a child again I'm a motherless wire Spinning 'round, buzzing wild Hurting others, ooh So pour me a glass and I'll tell you 'bout our war-torn born and raised dumb And how we never found the line My mind is mirrors, don't know what is and what's reflection Future's past, I'm right on time For once in my life I am right on time

Amazing album! You are so creative and such an inspiration to me. You created your own success, taylor didnt…she was actively supportive of you the entire time. You two are the Star team. If the record scratches….please tell her to long live. Peter losing windy. Bravo on the bit…it couldve gone on forever. Love and light, ill be standing on my tallest tiptoes

Insane that Jack is literally responsible for Taylor swifts success (along with many others) and yet his music gets little recognition

Ummm no... Taylor is responsible for her own success... Jack has just been a supportive producer
