It came out nice! Next time section your hair in four parts and use smaller sections and when you apply the bleach use vertical strikes as that will take out the harsh lines you said you was getting. And if you have to process the hair with bleach again use a lesser strength of developer. Like if you use 40, drop down to a 30 developer so you want damage the hair as much.

Omg bleaching 3 times with 40 vol. You kept it real tho.. Lord lol That hair looked dry af but you look fabulous. It looked the best after second bleach. If you want to bleach multiple times use 30 and mix with 20 to drop down a little to avoid damage and to push the lift a bit farther! thank gosh it is a unit..I would store it with deep conditioner in it also. She will feel brand new in a week if kept in a ziplock to stay moist with deep conditioner..hope this helps! ♡

This will probably be a little long, I love talking hair and beauty! I have naturally dark, dark brown hair, nearly black. I wanted to experience the "millennial pink" pastel color that's been so popular the past few years, but I didn't want to bleach since I didn't know if it would even look good on me. I KILLED that lace front (I'd never had one before & didn't realize that's what I bought) I watched so many video tutorials & demos of cutting the lace and all the prep, and I still murdered that damn thing, for real! I'm glad it was synthetic, but it was some of the nicest, most realistic looking & feeling synthetic I've ever had! Also the most I've ever paid for a synthetic on Amazon just to test drive a color! Which is why it still sits in my closet, I can't bring myself to toss it when it's technically still brand new even though the lace was over cut. I keep thinking I'll find something I can do with it someday! I recently learned about the different volumes of developer, and it took the right guy explaining it the right way for it to finally make the most sense to me. A guy dropped one tab of alka seltzer in 40 vol and one in 20 vol. The 40 bubbled like crazy for like 20 seconds and then stopped almost completely whereas the 20 vol bubbled steady for over a minute. So 40 vol gives a huge quick initial boost but the 20 vol stays steady & active for so much longer. I never realized that. I guess that's why they say "low and slow" I just never realized until he gave that great visual example of how they work. It's on KZbin somewhere. Just thought someone else might find it helpful or interesting too. I still think with black hair like that you'd want to start with 40 though to break through the dark base quickly at the start. I'm not a cosmetologist though & I don't play one on TV. I've just been punishing my hair for the last 25 years & have learned some pretty great lessons on what NOT to do..lol If I can't be a good example, I'll have to be a horrible warning. Just doing my part...LOL That wig turned out great and looks amazing for 3 rounds of any vol, but with 40, that's wild! My own hair would have been mushy like overcooked pasta. I need to find out how these Brazilian girls care for their hair for it to withstand all that and still look fantastic!! Lol
@manischkreativ88683 жыл бұрын
@@anitataco6488 I don't know much about Brazilian hair care, but maybe it's best to use Keratin, rice protein or silk protein on it. Checkout a shampoo from "novex" or Maui Moisture, they might be "heavier" on your hair but it's good as soon as bleaching routines are involved.

I want to bleach a wig to that same color that you wanted, but I've never dyed or anything before. How long should I leave the bleach on the hair to avoid having to bleach it 3x?
@TakishaEtienne6 жыл бұрын
Honestly, you can’t get around bleaching multiple times to get the hair to lighten up that much. That’s why people do multiple rounds to get the color they want. Bleaching it once and leaving the bleach on for a long time won’t lift it to a 613. I also wouldn’t advise leaving it on for too long at a time either. You might be able to bleach it twice to get close to the color that was my end result but i wasn’t able to so i went for a 3rd time. I’ve seen videos where people bleach 4 or even 5 times, which i think is too much so this hair definitely lightens easier than many others. I would also say that With every application of bleach , I would leave it on for a lesser time than each time and keep an eye on it so that you get no breakage. And after you rinse out each time, use the shimmer lights shampoo and leave it in for at least an hour to 2 hours. I think that definitely helped me to get the color to be that light and not brassy to where I didn’t even need to use toner. Hopefully that helps!

@shelleyfowler77743 жыл бұрын
The color is badass, I LOVE the color,,,,BUT,,,, I felt bad watching you work SO hard to achieve this final blond color, not too mention the time it took you, bc your time is by far your most valuable asset, and we can never get it back. This is just a suggestion, but it will be SO much easier for you to section out the hair in 4-6 quadrants ESPECIALLY working with bleach and working with that much hair, then, the bleach job will turn out completely even all throughout the hair, and then you won’t have to worry about keeping going back to throw more bleach on “here n’ there.” Also, while working with this much hair, make sure to add little bit more cream developer to keep your bleach moist, avoid at ALL costs by bleaching great big bowls of powder bleach, once it starts to cake up and get crumbly, your bleach will not work like it should, ESPECIALLY using a 40’D...Make 1 batch of bleach at a time for each section / quadrant, n keep your mix with your developer in case you need to get it creamy, instead of drying out, it won’t affect your lift whatsoever! If anyone is thinking about bleaching their OWN NATURAL-HAIR AND/OR their own hair that is color processed following this video, I personally would NOT use 40 Developer,,, the highest level I’d use is 30 Developer, and that is even cutting it close...Preferably 20 developer is best especially bc of the type of powder bleach is being used by stripping the hair. Ohhh and one more thing, whatever anyone may do, ALWAYS fraction in the HEAT that is all over your scalp due to the fact that your heat will lift your hair like no other, and, it’s always best if you will leave a shadow root, (((it’s a personal thing)) and keep your bleach off your scalp! Must factor in your heat band ,,, bc this IS a wig, it WILL not bleach as fast as your natural hair bc there’s no heat source for it TOOOO develop as fast. I hope that I didn’t confuse anyone, I’ve learned the hard way,,,WAYYYY back then! Keep on A’ bleaching! 😘
