Should we always do this in the Spring, not Summer or November before Winter hits.

You can do this anytime of year. Just make sure you really rinse your grass off if you're doing it in summer.

Just hit it with some oil based stain after cleaning and you wont have to do this every year. I feel like chemical applications every year are doing more damage long term.

@601TDA it's tough to get those to dissolve in a timely manner. Plus the pieces clock the sprayer.

I’ve always been advised to not use bleach on wood. There’s a pro on KZbin called the wizard of wood and many professional pressure washing and staining groups I’m in also advise to not use sodium hypochlorite (pool bleach) on outside wood. What I used on mine was sodium percarbonate to clean it and oxalic acid to brighten it. Came out looking amazing. It was untreated for years before I did it.
@jimmycasey6400 Жыл бұрын
So what do you use and where do you get it from
@greggf.primus8916 Жыл бұрын
KZbin is oversaturated with "professionals". I own 4 properties and have been using SH on all my wooden fences. Every 3-5 years I soft wash, clean and stain them with no problems. Been using this method for 15 years. Use what works for you and SH works flawlessly for me.
