Can you guess what bleach got all of my 2 years of black box dye, red box dye, AND blue box dye out? The bleach that came in a splat complete kit. My hair didn't fall out, didn't even feel too dry. Bleached it ONE time with that stuff and my hair was almost platinum, maybe one level lower.

@@saiiclawps i wish i did that then, my hair is still slightly orange/brassy in some parts. which turned it just a little too peachy for my liking when i dyed it pink, now it drives me crazy. 3 bleaches and it's too fried by now 😭😭😭

@@cherylmasons The shea moisture 'Strengthen and restore' hair mask is good if you have straight hair, and the 'intensive hydration' one is good if you have thick/more coarse hair! (or curly) -super cheap if you're not looking to drop a band on your hair. -They saved my hair when a hairdresser used 40 vol on me. Took 2 months of those hair masks, and I was able to brush it without it being tangled. Goodluck!!

There were so many parts where I just wish someone would have helped you. My maternal instincts are strong. As A Punk/Goth/Metalhead mama, I'm used to doing other people's hair as much as my own. It's one way to care of the people I love and care for and could easily do so for strangers as well. They wouldn't be strangers for long. You came through with a great result. I just feel like you could have skipped some steps with outside help. Use a bond builder, sweetheart. The coco oil does affect the bleaching process in that the bleach works so hard to eat through the oil that it kind of fizzles out by the time it comes to melting the colors out. Bond builders like the cheap one from Sally's, Ion, work really well and at least for me, leaves the bleached hair even softer than the untouched.

Yesss I'm probably gonna go to a salon for my roots because it's too hard for just myself but I love that you help with others hair, I wish I knew someone like you. It's especially awesome that you're a metal mama!! Will make sure to use a bond builder thank you so much for the advice :D

Oh i went throught this for 3 whole years and i miss it! i used to put pink on top of the green to make it look purple and that way i didnt bleach the hair that much. I had to buy the k18 mask bc my hair goy rlly weak and heat got it dryyy lol. I’m very bored of my dark hair rn and i’m growing a pixie so i might get myself to be blonde again 😈

just a tip ik this video is old and this is probably not relevant but red cancels out green dye my hair turned green too when i tried to dye it black blue and i just put a semi perm red dye over it and it went away and i was able to wash the red dye out and dye over it
