As a professional hairdresser, the people that say this looks bad have no idea what they're talking about. This is exactly the balayage effect on auburn hair. Its a crude technique, yes, its supposed to look sunkissed, and last time i checked the sun doesn't hold a brush when it bleaches your hair. Great video Stella!

@Anja Blu I‘m really sorry to say that, but I’m a professional too and there is in fact a really splotchy part. I mean it’s homemade and therefore it’s okay but if a professional would have done it that way… no chance darling.

Hi I just wanted to say that I have natural blonde hair and it gets natural highlights. I have literally never seen another dye job that ACCURATELY REPRESENTS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!! THIS IS SO NATURAL LOOKING!!! I would totally try this on myself to enhance the look and in the winter! Literally, the best bleach approach I have ever seen in my life. It would allow me to enhance my look while still showing my natural color, and I feel like it would look great on LITERALLY any color hair! I'm so excited!

I've been doing my hair like this with a tangle teezer for years, since I can't be bothered with foils, it's a great way to do balayage on yourself, hint, if you want to make the ends more saturated, turn the brush vertically and brush that way :)

So many other influencers make products then either pound us over the head with them or don’t use their products at all. For this being Stella’s first product, she has the perfect mix of mentioning her product enough so we remember it, but not so much that we’re sick of it. I personally never use paddle brushes, so this product isn’t for me. But it’s just so beautifully made (aesthetics and quality both, it I wasn’t broke I’d buy one just to look at 😂), I look forward to whatever is next from Stellari.

I used to do something like this. I used am old comb and actually cut off some of the teeth to make it slightly irregular so I did not have perfect lines but unevenly spaced streaks. I did not leave it very long, just time enough to get a soft color (natural dishwater blonde that just needed some accents) .

A lot of people are complaining about her results. I agree they are not perfect and I was always very careful with placement on my hair (I have a little bit of experience as my older sister is a long time master cosmetologist and I was her guinea pig for many many years. I picked up a few tips and I have some talent myself so...). I am commenting that the technique works. The results are largely dependent on the person's ability).

Tip for very short hairstyles: use a mascara wand or a tooth brush for a similar effect or super soft highlights on a pixie cut (or anything with super short layers). For a very settle effect I wouldn't use Schwarzkopf BlondMe though, it lightens very quickly and if you have dark hair and want caramel highlights, a bleach that works more slowly might be a better choice (Wella Blondor for example does a nice job in such a case). I can do weaved highlights and babylights on myself but it's very stressful to me doing it on my own head, doing it on other people is a lot of fun but on myself? Nope, I would rather use this technique than a "regular" one for DIY projects on your own head of hair. It gives a different effect though. But it's better to have a nice but different effect than having messed up highlights because you either couldn't see what you're doing or didn't get the technique right (there are many factors that can mess up a head of highlights, when you DIY them it's not unususal that you mess up somehow - even if you can easily do it on someone else). By the way, I'm from Germany but I do not really like the typical foods from here. I prefer indian food. Most foods from here (even if they taste great to me) don't really satisfy me.

I think this could use a anti-brass toner to cancel some of the yellow and orange tones. I think a true blonde would really suit you! Caramel blonde looks best on deeper skin tones imo. But I think overall the effect was good, just the wrong color!!

The opposite of thick is thin, so you'd say a "thinner formula" in your case! Also, when spelling a name (like Kenzzi) it is much more understandable if you have a repeated letter to say "double z" than repeating the letter twice! I point this out because I'm an English teacher but a native Spanish speaker and this helped me a lot when spelling x) Great videos Stella!

It helps me to deal with it in various aspects. And you look gorgeous in it (in my humble opinion). Bleach is supposed to be mixed 1:2 ratio. U can read it on all schwarzkopf products. And yes u do want it to stay close to that ratio. If u are mixing 1:1 u are making the bleach so much stronger and u dont need that.
