Etienne and Bigsby, along with the oline, have an abundance of motivation to prove they're better than they're seen to be. I agree with lessening the carries Etienne gets and really it seems like they need to be able to mix it up frequently so that it's not obvious what type of play they're about to run, rather than Tank only being used on short downs and goal line. Blocking and run game play calls improve I think it's a good tandem, with a solid 3rd in Johnson.

I hope tank could help out this year ,travis etienne is very dangerous against a worn down defense at the end of games. The closer

why do we keep saying bigsby is the physical back? hes smaller, slower and less athletic than etienne.
@rethkim3235 ай бұрын
It depends on where the weight is distributed. Tank is more top heavy with bigger shoulders vs Travis where you see it in the legs. Though I get what you are saying, Travis is 2 inches shorter and weights 3-5 pounds heavier than Tank.

am i wrong in thinking johnson did a great job when he was on the field last season, and it isn't necessarily a must that bigsby steps his game up in order for the jags to need to rely on etienne less (ie just more johnson if need be)? if that phrasing actually makes sense.. i just started the video so maybe it's discussed here, but that's a conversation i keep hearing, that it's somehow imperative to etienne's longevity that bigsby take a big step up - never with any mention of jonshon what so ever, i just find it bizarre.

I agree..D'ernest Johnson can PLAY...he is a quality backup no doubt!

We could of had that rb by committee if James Robinson never got hurt

Wish he never did, was pretty great for a couple years

Facts lol James always found some space just wasn’t the athlete Travis is. Travis is super gifted he just don’t always find the hole. Crazy thing is, if the injury was the reason they traded him, ETNs Lisfranc was worse.

The key to stopping Derrick Henry hasn’t changed in a decade. Hit him before he gets going. What does our line do? Allow our backs to get hit before they can get going. So the key to unlocking the whole committee is simple. Better run blocking. Stop letting our guys get hit in the backfield. Look at the Chiefs. Our backs are better BUT the Chiefs line consistently could get that one yard. That’s how our line needs to be. Obvious running situations, our guys get hit in the backfield too often. Travis is the only one that could still get yards regardless. Tank or Johnson couldn’t. Be better up front and all will be fine.
