Can you possibly do a video on how to calculate cut and fold sizing? Such as…what sizes does 11”x17” fold to…or 13”x19”? Example: if I was printing a multi-page brochure…how do I work out what the cut size should be and then what the folded size should be…based on the “parent” size of the substrate?

Thank you. Would love to know how to make these crop marks in photoshop.

If you type in crop marks on the help panel, it should be helpful. Or if you search in KZbin for a video. I would love to break it down for you but I don’t have the chance to get to my computer at this stage because I just had a baby 🤗 There is little time at the moment between sleeps and feeds. Best of luck 🥰

Short and to the point! Thanks! Just a question: If I have to prepare a 11 x 17 poster to be printed at a print house, should the poster be of bigger size?

Yes, it will need to have a bleed if any of the artwork goes to the edge. Talk to the printer and ask how much bleed they require for a poster that size. Usually it is around 3-5mm in New Zealand :) Best of luck :)

@@DesignbyCheyney Thanks for quick reply. It's a white background with a graphics and some text, so it doesn't go to the edge. So, in this case, no need for bleed, right? Just want to be sure as I dont have any access to the printer.

Correct, no bleed is needed if none of the artwork/design touches the edges :)
