Just changed clutch slave cylinder and flexi hose today. Managed to bleed the cylinder on my own using the old broom handle method against clutch pedal and jammed against the seat back, hanging a cut off juice bottle filled with DOT4 enough to submerge the clear hose from the bleed nipple. I have a pump bleed kit but that was in the house (2 minute walk from the garage) seen the brush in the corner of the garage thought I would use that to hold the pedal down whilst I cracked open the bleed nipple for a few seconds then closed it. Release broom and repeat 3 to 4 times or until bubbles dissappear. Keep an eye on fluid level in master resevoir, I topped up twice. Took about 15 minutes in total. Normally I have my youngest daughter to pump the clutch pedal but she was at school. Cheers for the videos. I'm in the process of refurbishing a 1972 MGB GT teal blue.

Lesson learned: always replace all three brake hoses, not just one or two....😅 The easiest way of getting the majority of the air out of the (rear) brake lines is by using initially the "gravity system": open both bleeder nipples on the rear wheels and allow the fluid to pour out. As the lines are initially completely empty will it take some time before the fluid from the master cylinder reaches the rear wheels. Make sure that you keep the master cylinder filled with fluid, to prevent new air to enter into the lines. Once the fluid has reached the rear wheels you can switch to either the vacuum method or the buddy system. I was curious about you showing how to bleed the clutch as that is what most MGB owners complain about. It often causes more trouble than bleeding the brake lines.

Dude I think you made this job way more complicated than it has to be. You should have considered a gravity bleed first.
