Merci pour ce tutoriel. la manipulation qui consiste à fixer les freins verticalement sur un tube est très astucieuse. Elle m'a bien servi. Bonne continuation à vous, et encore merci.

I really like this method, nice and simple, and gets rid of the old breaking liquid. The part where the excess air is removed @2:29 is especially cool - why none of the people in the other videos used this technique!?

thx this worked for me exactly as you instructed- first bleeding I have ever done 👍

Tuning Bikes Thanx Mischa, that's what I thunk. Heh, although I never do it with any car I might buy, unless I HAVE to work on the brakes, it seems to me that some diy happy person may have messed with the fluid in used mtb brakes and that's why they're for sale. One of the calipers had a piece of a cardboard box between the pads, which had been pumped really tight by the lever 🙄 and was mega difficult to release. I got it out eventually by clamping the caliper in a small vice, with the lever trailing on the floor and undoing the bleed screw (highest position won't let air into the system) while I applied pressure to the pads to separate them. Fluid came out and eventually the cardboard came out. I learned all about brake bleeding 35+ years ago on a govt mechanics training course when I was unemployed for a while. I haven't used them yet because I still need to buy a bleeding kit.

Dear wordreet, we sell the bleedingkits and you can get back in shape working on brakes. with a little routine and good tools its a pleasure. Mischa

Thanks for the video, but on the levers I had to move the + - knob to a slot on the - setting and then file off a little to get the bleeding kit nut to thread down all the way. Works great now!

How do I know what kind of oil I have to use?. I have Formula R1 racing brakes. I understand Formula changed the oil in some point

Great info! I just bought some used front and rear Formula R1 brake sets. As I don't know what's in them, should I completely replace the fluid?
@tuning-bikes5 жыл бұрын
Hello wordreet, yes you should definitely replace the fluid just to be sure! sincerly, Mischa

Interested in two points: With DOT I was always taught to try and remove dissolved gas by shutting off the connector and creating a vacuum in the syringe before connecting to the bike. You don't do this? Also with Avid, a complicated sequence of pushing fluid in and out and flicking the lever is described (I think to help clear the reservoir). Again you don't need to do any of this? Thanks.

Hi Keith, yeah, seems kinda outdated this video. Since shooting it we added a bleedblock and 2 clamps for the tubes to do exactly that and i think in most of our other videos lever flicking is also recommended, propably got lost on the cutting table. Nice find. Sincerly, Mischa

Mi spiace ma anche questo impianto frenanente fa schifo, fare lo spurgo è un incubo e una perdita di tempo senza eguali...
